Forget making him just a big Warboss
If there was a better example of The Beast, the greatest Warboss to have ever existed, the only Warboss that managed to gaze upon the Golden Throne itself during his assault on the Imperial Palace, then I can think of none other than this one.
this is what i would have imagined the beast to look like too, but with that in mind, vulkan is a fucking legend for having suplexed such an absolute unit
A Gundam 1/60th would be better for Beast tbh.
This guy is like one of the Beasts's minor Nobz maybe.
The Beast was actually one of SIX of these Orks, basically the progenitors of the various Ork clans.

That's rrally cool idea! I bought a orruk megaboss for my warboss conversion. It's just a "when the muses talk to me" kind of project that's been going om for 6 months now and barely half way there I think, he's going to end up as a form of super cybork so he's got a ton of shiny bitz on him and are gonna be about the same size as this guy I guess when he's done. A lot more aculpting than what you did but I might look into your builds for some more awesome ideas! Keep it up! 😃

NOW THIS is what grimgors new model should have looked like. A massive beast of hulking muscle with added power armour not a regular boy in a massive shell of metal.

Edit: Ghaz is already suuuper big btw, bigger then normal war bosses. His armor just makes him even bigger.
well, if we take as an account the famous ork vulcan had to fight, the one they took for a statue, i guess ork can get really tall and bulky.
And i'm surprise Ghazkull didn't grow that big.

Holy shit, this Warboss would peel open a Space Marine Dreadnought like a banana.
Bananas for the banana god, peels for his peel throne.
Now that is a warboss! It is funny you mentioned how you specifically wanted to avoid an ork head in a robot body as that ended being exactly what my warboss became as to gain the size to tower over the battle field I used limbs from a dreadknight. I will have to keep this video in mind the next time I build a warboss and try to incorporate more fleshy bits.
That's honestly the biggest challenge for me, since if you can't sculpt you have to source huge body parts from somewhere. Reaper miniatures is good for that, and are also pretty cheap.
I would totally buy such a great modelled Warboss. I sadly lack the skills to make them myself

It's looks more cartoony with smaller legs.
I think it was just fine in the beginning before you stripped everything off and cut his torso in half (essentially starting over). Sometimes you do too much IMHO.
it might not look good, but use a thimble if your cutting towards your thumb, before you cut your thumb.....again. Model looks Great.
Awesome conversion but I think you missed out on a dynamic pose. So much work for such a static pose. Overall very cool.
I would like you to make a Nob for size comparison, because your Orks look more realistic than GW's.

Gazghul Mag Uruk Thraka is the largest ork ever, he is the limit.
Its a nice conversion but Ghazghul is da biggest.

honestly, i think it looked better before making his torso bigger.... still looks great, but that was a mistake (in my humble opinion... like i said still looks great, and i couldn't do anything even remotely like this, dont kill me plz)
Haha, no worries. A lot of people have actually commented that, and I do really think he has a certain charm at that stage. I think what it is is that he looks more classically orky there, and some people prefer that look.

Funnily enough it's literally called green stuff. And no, I don't paint.
It's literally called green stuff
It's a two part epoxy, Congress with a yellow and a blue putty, then you punch of bits of both putties and mix thoroughly.
There are other similar things if this specific product is unavailable/out of price range.
This was amazing...this warboss is worthy for a great Waaaaaaaaaaagh!
