These are definitely one of my favorite sneakers of 2022 , regardless of the Ls i took on them. The Kobe 6 is one of my all time favorite non-Jordan sneakers and i like several colorways on that silhouette. These in particular are very clean and of course a very nice tribute to Kobe and his daughter Gigi.
Great sneaker , though especially with Kobe's global icon status & legacy and Vanessa's recent comments about wide availability ; these should have had crazy high stock numbers to get them to as many people as possible. I hope they do more regional SNKRS Passes and online restocks.

To me, this was one of the most poorly executed releases by Nike. Don’t get me wrong, the shoes are amazing. But this release by Nike was catastrophic. The initial information given in the SNKRS app gave little to no info on how the release was going to actually work. SNKRS app said “Prioritizing Members who have put the Mamba Mentality to work on the court and to fans who have followed Kobe and Gigi’s story from the beginning, the Kobe 6 will only be released via Exclusive Access”. Like what does that actually mean? That was like saying something without saying anything at all. I thought for sure this would be one release Nike would make an effort to mass produce so all fans/supporters were more likely to get a pair. It would be amazing to see so many pairs on the court, off the court, or anywhere and everywhere to show how much of an impact Kobe and Gigi had. I also expected more transparency in telling people how exactly the release would work. With all the time Nike had prior to this release, it was super disappointing to see how it turned out.

Even without the backstory, the silhouette and color pattern on these I thought were straight flames. When images first came out I was like damn these are so sick.

These are my first Kobe’s and will keep them as long as a I can. Even though they are black I like how the snake skin shines. These are definitely my top 3 sneakers I’ve ever owned.

Definitely on point. Kobe 6 is my personal favorite basketball shoe and in the top 3 all-time sneaker. My OG del soles are still in top shape and Sir Young Buckets Esquire's stamp of approval with a 10 out of 10 gives it iconic status 👏. Rest in peace Kobe and Gigi, may their legacies live on for ever 🙏
i got lucky with early access on these, i won't be selling them, they are going to stay in my collection for a long time until i either decide to wear them, pass them on to someone, or trade them for something i'll wear the hell out of. RIP kobe and gigi

Definitely respect the design and message behind the sneaker! I just couldn’t wear these as an everyday type sneaker, they don’t fit my style. These weren’t even a blip on my radar as I think the die hard Kobe fans should get them. Awesome review though!!!
Got mine through EA from SNKRS while coming home from vacation. Was sweatin the whole time hoping my mobile connection was gonna come through.

Was able to get EA on these and grab a pair. Very nice in hand. Only other pair I want are the grinch’s.
Got myself lucky on scoring two pairs. An 8.5 on SNKRS Pass and an 11.5 on EA, getting my 8.5 as my personal and flipping the other.
I wasn’t able to snag a pair , but I also didn’t Mind paying re sell, as a faithful sneaker collected ( and yes I wear em ) this shoe was a MUST HAVE and I’m glad I was able to get a pair at a “ decent “ price

To me, the high tops for both the Kobe 9’s and 10’s are the best looking Kobe’s. Hope they retro both silhouettes one day….
In the thumb nail they look blue and would definitely have looked way better that way. I hope they do come out with one like the thumb nail.

I got EA and these things are fire! They will be on feet, in the fall! Beautiful sneaker and very happy to have them in my collection. The only issue with them, compared to my other 6s, the insoles aren't cut perfect, so they bunch up in the heel area but it doesn't bother my heel. #RIH

I feel like nike shit the bed on this one with production. This ONE shoe should have enough produced for all adults and kids who loved kobe and gigi.. plus proceeds were going to a charitable foundation. Who cares about resell value.. how many kids gigis age are going to be able to get a pair of these because of limits? Several million pairs should have been produced

To be fair these where already made and just as setting in the storage due the Kobe deal being put on hold. Now I do think moving fwd they should do pre orders for Kobe models. Due to the spike being ppl either wanting the bag off resale or trying to get clout.

This is a special release. Great video as usual, although I would’ve picked a slower BPM softer beat, for this review that seems a little sentimental. I didn’t like the music choice for this video🤷🏾♂️
It's a damn shame that resellers are the ones who got most of the pairs. Lets just say that there is a special place for people who try to profit off of the death of someone who impacted so many. There are honest lifelong fans of Kobe and loved his daughter GiGi who can not get a pair because of the vultures that exist in the sneaker community now. It's shameful.
This is an absolutely phenomenal shoe but I feel like Nike could do a little more for a fans! The Kobe 6 and the 9 are my 2 favorites and I've held on to every pair I've purchased. Given the meaning of this shoe and popularity of Kobe brand within Nike, it would have been nice to see a larger release. It wouldn't have lessened the value but instead given more opportunity for individuals/fans to get their hands on a pair considering the global popularity of Kobe and Gigi, just as Vanessa recently stated. Limiting the production only entices those individuals looking to turn a big ass profit on the resell sites. I'm an old sneaker head and remember waiting in long ass lines outside of Footlocker praying they would have my size (or half size up or down) by the time we got in the store with cash and coins I had scraped together. At this point if you aren't religiously on on the Sneakers app or sitting and waiting for the newest drop at 10:00 everyday then your SOL or your paying the resell ninjas. This shoes is a beautiful tribute to Gigi and Kobe and wish I could get a pair (Nike if your listening, there's one pair on Ebay in my size right now starting Bid $1,000 and I don't think that's what you intended). RIP to all that lost their lives on that tragic day!
