Sully wasn't throwing zakk under any bus,he even said that zakk is unbelievable, but its true,as good as he is he didn't play it like dime,no disrespect at all,just the truth,I do believe that zakk has the best chance playing dimes stuff then anyone else
Renee Mero Yea, I'm thinking Zack just probably hasn't practiced the song enough or the difference in Dime and Zack's styles mean that they will never sound the same anyway.

RIP Brother Dime. You came to rock like no other. I gotta say though Robbie Merrill's talk about Dime made me tear up a bit. I felt like it was still hitting him hard also with the way he talked. Very genuine with all the band mates but it feels like Robbie felt it the most :(
Some Noob Yeah, he looks all chocked up.😭 but, some people can hide A LOT of pain. They may even feel it deeper. And just not show it. My boys are this way. When they lost their Grandfather...they wouldn't cry in front of anyone. They said that, " "people are already sad. We don't want to make them cry even more." It still amazes me that in their horrible grief, they were thinking of others.

I first found Dimebag in Godsmacks Smack This tour video. Probably one of the best things that Ive gotten, dimes been a big influence for my guitar playing.

All those awesome riffs, and the future ones he could've created.... gone in the blink of an eye. Anytime anybody says "everything happens for a reason," Dime's death is one of the first things that pops up in my mind to remind me how bullshit that belief is.

Just in the last couple of days, I guess there’s been a lot of talk about this Reunion happening. They’re calling it a tribute, which is more Appropriate. Sully nailed it ..........I felt the exact same way ....... Why is he not Nailing the lead & that style. - Because Dime had his own trademark "feel" he played with. And I saw as Zach was playing that it wasnt easy for him. Zach is a great player, no question about that. But immulating someones actual personal playing feel & style is very hard to do when that person is a guitarist that cut thoer own path in the music world. ..Just like Eddie .... You can put a Great player,even a Han Halen fan up on stae playing thru Eddies gear & you will know its not Eddie because Eddie sounds like Eddie & Dime sounded like Dime.
Seen a interview where dimebag chucked a guitar at the interveiwer!
