What we need is a utilitarian defender not a luxury
The base level models are already pretty sparse compared to modern Land Rover levels of Lux. But, I agree a truly spartan version would be excellent.

Don’t be silly. Of course not.
The tires look decently beefy, and if you go by what's on the 130 Outbound, even with a set of 20s they put ATs on it. Still, I'd love to see if you could spec it with 18s but I suspect the brakes will be too large to allow that.
@@AutoTrader they may look beefy but they aren't. Many have tested the new defender and have had the same problem. It is the same issue with most Luxury SUV on the American market, wheels are too big and tire sidewalls are too short for proper off roading and deflation requirements. Too much video objective evidence of the defender off road not to see it that way.
The suspension is the same as the 2024 RR Sport SV. No air compressor. All hydraulically operated suspension, without sway bars.
Looks like a wider body/fender flares.

It will be limited units for the first edition, then unlimited after that.

To be fair, the V8 is not exceptional offroad in standard form, due to its huge sway bars, the OCTA will have no sway bars and another 100hp and much better comfort and flex
