I was just at Turnberry last week and I absolutely adored the course. You are correct. It is hard to beat that place for the amazing views on nearly every hole.

Stayed and played last month (June). Absolutely the most spectacular landscape, amenities, course, caddies,service etc. Can`t wait to go back. Your vid is great.

Just got back from Bandon and can't wait to put together a trip to Turnberry in the near future.
Played it and agree with you. It is unique and gets my number one spot , too. Lunch in club, dinner in hotel. A perfect day.

Very decent round i'd say, Sebbie. Always harder first time you play any course as you haven't learned it's little foibles etc. And look, after the world's been on fire for the past 18 months, isn't it nice to be out there playing again and making sure you put it in perspective and enjoy it? Hats off to you. I'm taking a membership very soon and setting myself a target to hit sub 90. Looking forward to the challenge.

Best course I’ve ever been hands down, including St. Andrews, as you said, hole after hole that would be like a signature elsewhere.

Played Turnberry before the changes. A stunning golf course. The new layout improves it even more. The R and A need to take The Open back here soon. I know it isn't the easiest venue to get to but it is a tragically underused course.
I would love to see the open return there one day

Trump deserves credit for spending a fortune and making it the best course and clubhouse in the UK. A very special place.

One of the best in the world it appears to me. The most historically relavent if not also among the best in terms of the feel and the views. Its like trumo doral its like the disney land of golf but without all the creepy anamotronics at night and conspirscy theories but listen you might here some conspiracy theories on those golf courses everyones got a wild opinion somehow these days. Now watch this drive.

I played at turnberry years ago. On the second day the forecast called for 60mph wind gusting to 80mph. Our caddies were waiting for us. We went to see a castle instead.

great video and great course but can't afford to play it ! same with all the great courses and they say it's not an elitist sport anymore,bloody joke one night and 2 rounds nearly £1000 !!!!
That figiure isn't even close to being true though, is it? 30 seconds on the old interweb and I can see packages for £349 - £559 in high season. Are we just rounding up now?

Yeh, they shoudlv'e just gone bankrupt and sacrificed hundreds of jobs in the local area which wouldn't exist without the resort being open. That would've been a much better solution.
