It was appropriate for you to call out the organizers. If they want their event to have prestige, they should run it in a way that gives participants the ability to perform at their best.
Putting aside the red bulls for water had me laughing like mad :D absolutely hilarious! Your videos are awesome, fun to watch and very motivating!
Haha glad you liked that part 😂 Thanks makes me very happy to hear you found my videos motivating!
Me too, best advice I've seen, ditch that shite.
Cristiano Ronaldo did it with coke
@@emanueldelapaz5115 that was the joke
Damn! 140m rise over only 400m is insane! I checked it against the steepest sections of the park I use and that's a bit over twice as steep lol. Sounds very fun!
Yeah it for sure was more like climbing than running at the steepest section 😅 Yeah it was super fun!
It's really unprofessional to move the time without informing people who participate in the event. However, still very impressed with Göran's place, well done! I don't know if I missed it, but were there any women who participated?
Thanks! Yeah there was a separate women's competition.
Events do this a lot and they will announce it on the microphone. They obviously did since almost everyone was already standing at the starting line. 🙄
@@alwaystmoza you are wrong. I have been to 100's of races and have never had a heat pushed up. If there is a published schedule, they will start exactly on that time or as soon as the prior heat finishes. No meet director would ever start a race early. Especially 30 minutes early! People plan out their warmup routines based on the start times of a race. 30 minutes out, you would still have guys out doing warm up jogs.
Cringe
What do you mean by woman.....can you define that please?
Brilliant Göran! Looks great fun.. shame about the (dis)organisers messing about with the start time but you did really well still!
Thanks Julian 😊
Wow I've really looked forward to this video! great editing with a sneak peak first and then the shots from 3 hours and 6 days earlier. Also really liked the "interview". It was a fun adding to the flow of the video. But I was a bit amazed in a bad way of the lack of information and the decision to change the start time, I mean such a big event, those kind of mistakes are expected at small local comps but not from big organizers. Anyway grym video och kul att följa dig på resan Göran!
Thanks glad you liked it! Yeah it was for sure a bit frustrating with so many people handing out red bulls but no one could answer the most simple questions about the rules 😅 but was a super fun experience anyway 😊
Very humble presenter/runner. Thank you for the inspiration ☺️
Thanks for watching! 😊
Embarrassingly bad blunders from organizers but thankfully you still persevered.
Yeah it was for sure frustrating with the lack of information and wrong information, but other than that it was a super fun event!
Dude, that sucks that they moved the start time. Did they explain why after the race? Still, you probably raced on anger which isn’t a bad thing in those types of races 😂 fair play. We’ve got UTMB Thailand coming up in a few weeks so thanks for the training inspiration. Definitely stealing that hill rep set! Great work 🤟🏼
Yeah it was a bit frustrating but yeah maybe the frustration helped me a bit. Ok cool I wish you the best of luck in that race 😊
Your videos gives good ideas and motivation for runners, and you also have good filming skills ( within a month I almost watched every video of your channel), please don't stop what you are doing now, Best wishes from India🇮🇳
Thanks Avanindra, I'm very glad to hear you like my videos 😊 More coming!
Babu the Jhatu
Blimey! Well done Göran… and well done Oscar! You BOTH rock! Love your videos and super-impressed with how hard you work! 🙌🌟😁
Thanks Amanda 😀
New to your channel. This is sooo amazing!
Happy to have found you!
Welcome to the channel, I'm glad to hear you like my videos 😊
Liked putting redbull aside, thank you for all your motivation, technique and details.
Thanks glad you liked it 😊
Looks like this race challenged not only space but also time with a high dosis of unpredictability! Like always super cool video💪👏
Yeah it was for sure a bit mentally challenging especially going from relaxing mode to race mode in 30 seconds 😅 but still a very fun experience 😊
Congrats on that challenge and great accomplishment within the overall result, especially with the "surprise" at the finals.. next year they should be a bit more considerate at least.
Thanks Javier 😊
Really high production on this video. Good race buddy.
Thanks Cam 😊
Would love to see someone like Karsten Warholm try this to compare it to his open 400m pb
Cool event...congrats on your results. Your positive attitude is a real inspiration!
Thanks 😊
Fantastic run/climb. Appreciate your videos as always. Congratulations.
Thanks 😊
My legs are burning watching this and I’m just sitting here.
Haha it was burning a bit editing the footage as well 😅
Nice work man, always impressed by the quality of your videos! Are you using a gopro on the chest strap for the first person view?
Thanks 😀 yeah almost it’s a dji osmo action on a chest mount.
You have such a positive vibe about you man.
Thanks 😊
Superb. But scary if someone falls back and rolls down.
Press conference scene earned the like 👍 great stuff man!
Haha thanks 😅
Fabulous! Reb Bull 400 is on my "to do" list
Ok cool, it was for sure a fun race!
Great video, well done in the race. Loved the press conference 😂
Thanks! Haha 😅
Unfortunate with the organisation, but it looked like a lot of fun!
Yeah it was a very fun day 😁
What a crazy cool challenge!! Congratulations on your impressive finish, even with the disorganized management!!
Thanks Kelly 😊
Great video again Göran 👍🏻 Can‘t wait for the next adventure. Congrats to you and Oscar.
Thanks Lars 😊
8:33 HOW? WHAT? WHY? That mess up with the times from the organiser part was such a let down. They seem to have done such a good job with the nets, results and stuff and still were able to mess the starting time. Really good luck that you happen to check it 👍 and awesome job with time race time! Hopefully you didn't get cramps 🏆
Yeah the information was really lacking through the whole they. But other than that it was a super fun event. Thanks 😊
This race looks amazing
Yeah it was very fun and tough 😅
Now lets race everyone DOWN that hill!
Great video! Have you ditched 360 camera? I didnt saw it in your recent videos. What equipment for filming are you using now?
Thanks! No haven’t ditched it just depends a bit on the situation what I choose to film with. I film with a Sony A7C, insta 360 one x, dji osmo action, iPhone and mavic air drone.
Also #1 Swede :D Nicely done Göran, a fun watch also :)
Haha yep as a Swede every Norwegian you beat is a victory 😅 Thanks Marc!
Haha! The 'press conference' was fun! Great video!!!
Haha 😅 Thanks Chad 😊
Enjoyed the video! You are an inspiration as always.
Thanks Mark 😊
You did great💪 🏃 congratulations 👏👏👏
Thanks 😊
Reminds me of pre-season training with my running club when I was a kid 400m hill, sprint up walk down, so much puke on it by the end of the session, brutal, made you regret every chocolate bar you sneaked in in your holiday ;) even now more than 30 years later those sessions make me wince.
Damn... my heart rate went up to a 150 just watching you guys 😂
😅
awesome video! im already exhausted with 50 meters of elevation 😂
Thanks glad you liked it 😊
Funny. Came to watch this video straight from having watched the one where you talk about not needing to warm up 😄
The Manitou Incline: “Hold my beer”
Well Done!
Thanks Alexander!
Your video is so cool!
And could you recommend me suitable shoes for trekking??
this event looks fun. You and your friends did great
Thanks!
I was there to watch 😄
Cool 😃
I just came across this video and as a Portuguese I loved your Cristiano Ronaldo moment at 5:00
Haha glad to hear 😁
5:03 I saw what you did there Mr Cristiano ;-)
hey göran where you from, norway?where do you train(facilities)?
Hey! I'm from Sweden but I live in Moss Norway and mostly train in the forest 😊
You forgot to mention the winner
Was it you Marius who won or you just have the same name as the winner? Big congrats in that case super impressive 😀 This video was about my experience and not a full coverage/news report of the race, but the full result list is showed in the end of the video for those who are interested.
@@goranwinblad Hahahah, just joking😂 Ye, it was me. Shockingly
@@marius9295 haha ok cool congrats, that was an impressive run 🤩😀
Congratulations Marius!
Very good position despite no warm up
Thanks Mark!
Loved this!
Glad to hear 😀
Nice video and well done. Re your 6 days out from an event wouldn't do anything after one session only. Takes longer for the body to adapt to a stimulus. Can't expect your legs to get anything from the session from just one.
Was that preparation track you went to the one going uphill from Jeløy camping? Looked very much like it.
Yep you are correct that was the one!
@@goranwinblad Funny, not from that area, but buddy and I went down there with our kids during the summer holiday :)
I love that he moved the Red Bull off the table and grabbed his water 😌
😅
Wel done Hamish 🇬🇧
How fast were your 3 times?
Good work!
So essentially this is how not to run an event. With my buddy working for red bull for nearly a decade, this doesn't surprise me at all! You know how people say they want the "average Joe" to be in the olympics to see how great these athletes are compared to the average man? Boy how the tables have turned lol!!
Yeah they could have done things a lot clearer but still a super fun challenging day of racing 😊
I am so glad to see that not only in chile the organizers move everything all over the place xD do you by any chance know what % incline this slope had?
What camera you use bro?
Thanks for all your content!
In this video I used a mixture of Sony a7c dji osmo action and iPhone 13 mini. Thanks 😊
Video idea: train with intervals on a Jacob's Ladder & vertical climber/steep treadmill for 10 weeks and win it next time!!
Great brother..keep it up. Support 👍
Thanks 😊
I love your channel! I’ll definitely yoin again!
Thanks!
This looks awesome. Would love to give that a shot. Great job. And thanks for the heads up on the organizational issues.
Yeah it was for sure a different and really fun running event, thanks 😊
4 min is a very good time, considering the average trained person does 6-7min (Whistler Vancouver course). 3:30 is another league!
Thanks, yeah 3:30 is super impressive.
such a nice video and a super inspiration
Glad to hear! 😊
Organisation seemed pretty Italian there ;)
So basically, Red Bull couldn't organise a drink in a soda factory.
Love the Ronaldo reference
Lol redbull really messed up this event
The hill:
*Sine* of the times 😂
9:39, me after running 40 meters to catch the bus.
Red Bull 400 Planica has a 202m altitude diff so that one is def toughest 😅
You can't expect much more from redbull 🤣
Fun and hard and special event.
But the organizers need to shape up and be a bit more pro...
Well done !!!
Yeah it was for sure fun and challanging, thanks 😊
Was this in Utah? I’m wondering cuz I went there once and I thought I recognized the ramp
No it's Norway 😊
Shit lookin like a 30% gradient 💀
The organizers should be fired for not informing annyone of the time changes and schedule sloppy
Oh cool i have been there
Very cool video
Thanks!
Organizers were trying for a Squid Game vibe.
😂
Espectacular
Yeah they for sure have som things to work on, but it was still a really fun event 😊
at what degree does this become a climb and not a run
Nice Cristiano reference 😂
I really want to do this race
Göran, are you from Norway? Are you a vampire?!)
Might be a good event for climbers not runners xD
What a cluster fuck of an event
Where is it
Strava says lil hill repeat
Kult 💪🏼🤙🏻
Where are the ladies? I would love to do that race!
So stupid when they change start times without making sure everyone knows
I get the taste of blood in my mouth by just watching this
Why where the organizers so completely unprofessional? Seems completely ridiculous to fail at such basic things like Decide beforehand how the competition layout should be, and which times the starts will go for the respective heats..?
Ridiculous event managementwise.
That's climbing not running.
4:55
that is swedish accent at its best
😅
