Bioshock 4 is being made by a separate development team (who are made up of development veterans of the original 3 Bioshock games, with some new members as well). Ken Levine is directing Judas and is not a part of the Bioshock 4 team.
Cause Levine didn’t want to work with 2k taking creative control from him and they largely did with bioshock 2. He claimed he wasn’t working with them anymore which isn’t the case as Judas publisher is still 2k.

I'm so glad multiple story choices and multiple endings are seemingly back after Infinite's deterministic story themes kept that from being a possibility, especially now with the three different AI personalities you have to deal with all at once. Like Bioshock strategy FPS gameplay but with Tokimeki Memorial's character interaction system. Though if you get bombed aboard the Mayflower it's probably a lot worse than one of the AIs spreading a rumor about you around high school.
I'm sure the gameplay will be amazing, but this just looks like a remake of the original BioShock with less gore and a facelifted story line. The enemies also look goofy compared to all the advanced tech on the ship.
"Not bioshock" : If there ever was a game that was NOT Bioshock and looked exactly like Bioshock in nearly every single aspect, this is it. The gunplay, interactions, engine, artistic style, special powers, graphics, gun designs all scream bioshock. But it has a different name and environment so its not bioshock. Alright then. 😂 that being said it looks fantastic as bioshock games do.

@@SPG8989there’s no reason why it can’t be both. To clarify, roguelite is a meta genre that can be layed over pretty much every other genre of game. You can have a roguelite turn based jrpg for instance. A roguelite character action game. And yes a roguelite immersive sim.

2 major things to note: #1: It's a roguelite #2: Don't forget how much cooler the demos Levine showed for Infinite were compared to what we actually got.
Art style and reputation of Lavine alone was enough to make this my most anticipated game. Now that I'm aware of all these gameplay innovations I'm losing my damn mind! Cryogenically freeze me please.
Atomic heart, prey, deathloop, dishonored, clockwork revolution, singularity, system shock, and this uses the formula that bioshock made back in 2007 and it forever changed the way we play first person shooters. 👌👍🤟👏
What everybody else said about system shock. Also if you like this genre make sure you’ve at least played the original Deus Ex. Sure System Shock predates it but Deus Ex is arguably the better immersive sim.
Depending on how deadly the bacteria is and how fast it spreads and kill you might just be better off to quickly leave the planet ( if you have the required technology already)
Well. Maybe the technology to do that already existed and the bacteria was highly contagious. And perhaps the problem wasn't the infection on humans but a destabilisation of ecosystems. If it is happening quicker than a solution can be developed it would make sense.
