What a lovely person. I'm glad that my being a fan of Ian Hislop brought me here.

I had to go out last night, so missed this live. So glad it is available here because such important issues are raised.

35m9s 'Crook means a criminal". I saw thinking how ironic that was and then she said it! What a wonderful woman. Incredible that her 'CV' includes being on the receiving end of criminal behaviour. Ian Hislop is already a hero of mine but his stature in my mind went up a few notches knowing he went out of his comfort-zone to visit prisons.

Makes you wonder if the staff should be locked up, for what that poor woman went through.

Is there any way of getting a picture? Audio is fine so it doesn't really matter.

Francis makes it sound like the prisoner is being punished for a crime they were convicted of. Did I miss something here or do we put slippers at the cell door and give out weekend passes ? . Stil thats ok if we warn their victims to stay in over the weekend

I've known people get over 2yr sentences come out after 3 months, it's a JOKE, she's only taking life sentences because she knows everything else is a total mess!! She can justify it anyway she likes, ask her why she can't keep drugs out of prison for example, watch her face change, THIS IS THE WRONG TYPE OF PERSON FOR THIS JOB!!

What rot this responder is talking. There are a multitude in the community who have never had the support, encouragement, and help that you and have had.
Long prison sentences are a waste of potential talent.
