I grew up in Lincoln and Lee's was always one of my favorites. Always loved the live piano, and amazing staff. The chicken is fairly plain, though. It might not be what people expect if they are visiting from out of town.

I love Lees Chicken!!!!!! I used to live on SW 27TH and wet A ST. used to sweet corn out the back door in the summer too!!!

I was gonna say...eh, you picked Lee's Chicken?...it just stinks like gizzards in that place. Chicken is good though.

Not what I would consider a "Campus Institutions" or even inside of Lincoln. (Although the city limits extend for miles outside of the actual city. So technically Lee's is in Lincoln.) IIRC someone stole the giant chicken a few years ago.
