- This video ended up being a lot longer than I expected it to be, but hopefully you can learn something from it!
also I have no idea what happened to the video quality on the 5th solve sorry about that

Hahaha definitely not what I expected to wake up to this morning, but it is much appreciated 🫡😅 I sent out these solves less than 12 hours before the vid was made so that’s insane! Really embarrassingly bad solves while watching you critique them, but here’s some stuff to clarify:
1. Generally, I don’t do cross+1, in fact, there are rare times I don’t even plan the full cross LOL, should definitely do that though.
2. I used to do yellow sometimes but just can’t be bothered anymore.
3. I have a stupid amount of rotations in my solves, if I’m not turning, I usually either just rotate or do panic moves, because I feel like I have some phobia with pausing ☠️
4. Wide T-Perm only if there’s no AUF AND I get the alg from that angle.
5. Trust me I don’t often mess up ADF on cross LOL, it just so happened that I did it on solves 1 and 2.
6. I feel like my 3x3 LL tps carries me (because of 2x2), but my F2L is generally like a 13-14s solver.
Overall, this was very useful! Thanks so much, and huge respect for getting the video out so quick! 😮
Here’s a useful cross+1 resource I made that I forgot to mention in the video:

What do you think in my first comment?
here i go im starting this 27 min vid
27 mins since your comment, did you finish it?
I didn't even realize it's 27 minutes long
Yep
@@GMJ160 me neither
you can't say pause less. But tymon can "Don't look at the piece you are solving" - Tymon. That will be $50000000
Love these videos!
This was amazing
Imma be here for years
the alg you showed at 19:12 is so good compared to the one I was using, couldn't follow it in the video cuz it was too fast but I found it online I think it's f' L F L' U' L' U L S, right?
ps if you have more algs like that where you use a non-standard alg please do tell I would like to improve my oll algs. same goes for pll.
pps you used to main an rs3m v5 right? what kinda setup should I try using with it? I don't really like the turn feel it has rn, even though the performance is fine and i absolutely prefer the uv coated surface.
that's the right alg, but i like to think of it as f' wide sexy sledge cancel into S
i'd recommend going through all the top options on speedcubedb and seeing if there's anything nicer than what you currently use
martian tends to work very well for v5s and moyu cubes in general
what cube r u using
youre amazing
Nice!
coach java
im trying to be sub 20, should i learn 4000 algorithms to 1LLL?
no i'd recommend learning one look LSLL instead
@@JavaCuber i will start tonight
yes you should, otherwise sub 20 will be almost impossible to achieve
tldr, LEARN 1LLL
hi jeremy nice videoooo
do you still prefer the uncoated ys3m over the ys3m magic clothes? and will you do a video about the v10?
the coated ys3m is faster if that’s what you like, but the uncoated ys3m is probably the most stable cube released in the past 5 years. I don’t use either much anymore but they’re both nice in their own way.
I don’t have a v10 and I don’t plan to get one so no video
@@JavaCuber okkk thanksss
ooh boy
Jeremy can u critique an ao5 by me?I avg 12-13 wanna get sub 10
woooooooo
eo c+1 time!
Hi javacuber im currently sub 13 on 3x3 im not full oll yet 24/57 cases to be exact im not dual color neutral as well can you give me tips to improve?
finish learning full OLL, then make sure all your F2L solutions are the same as top solvers'
@@JavaCuber my f2l is 7-8 secs with cross thanks for the tips
What's your setup on the V5 ballcore UV?(It's my main)@@JavaCuber
Hey @Java Cuber #JavaCuber You should do a solves of the same scrambles in your critique. real solve and not slow solve to see what you “actually” will do in “actual” solve. That would be better.
I don't think that'd be as instructive since our solutions would completely diverge after cross
@@JavaCuber I am not saying that you don’t do explaining the solves. In your critique you saw many errors but if you’re in actual solve you make mistakes also bcoz you can’t see them in fast solve. you know what i mean
yes but i don’t see how me making mistakes in solves is helpful to anyone
@@JavaCuber I think you dont get it. Thats not what I wanna say bro. Okay lets put it this way, you critique your own solves.
Solve critique featuring lawn mower. Thanks, I learned a thing or three, and I also need to pause less.
What is the alg used in 6:00 for Ja?
x R2 F R F' R U2 r' U r U2
Thanks:))) really enjoying your content
tyty
another alg for the case at 17:46 is, (from the same angle as yours): R U R' F' U' F U R U2' R'
I think yours is significantly better and that I am going to switch
LOL i know yours from megaminx OLL
Hi! I really like this concept. However i think it would make these videos a lot better to analyze his solutions prior to making the video, here it feels like you're wasting a lot of time just reacting and processing. It would also potentially allow for much more indepth analysis to do it extensively off-camera instead of having to give your thoughts right away
Boosting this comment, I agree wholeheartedly
yeah i usually try to be more concise but i wanted to try a more informal style
Do you use Linux
i use a macbook
First
you can critique my solves next i will send you clips to critique and make video on please send your email address now thanks
