2:10 might be the most on point way of describing why you steepin and shallow. I've looked at hundreds of videos looking for a reason why (in most cases) bad to take the club back to shallow, now I get it.

I’ve seen so many videos of shallowing the club and you describe/demonstrate it better than anyone else. Sidenote: Jon Rahm is the king of this lol. Watch how he tucks and flattens out, it’s crazy.

My biggest struggle is coming over the top. I fight it constantly. I tried both of these drills and my swing path was significantly under the plain. This is a great video. Always top notch guidance Clay!
My issues with shallowing started well before the down swing. It was ALL about how I turned my shoulders. Unreal it took me this long to figure out.

I have something similar and lasers will teach you a ton about swing plane, they show your plane post impact too so you can find the proper follow through. the only training aid I've bought that I was really happy with, helped me figure out why I had a chicken wing

I got this pretty much down pat with my driver now. But struggle with my irons. Everytime I bring the right elbow down on my iron swings I hit them too fat. Is this a stance/ball position issue or am I feeling like I'm tucking it and it's a swing issue? Love my new swing. Also since practicing this my lower back has quit hurting. I can swing all day now.
It's hard to say without seeing your swing, but it sounds like maybe you're not rotating enough and getting your body out of the way. I'd try filming my iron swings and see if I could identify what might be going on and go from from there. Best of luck! Nate | TSG Instructor
this product can easily help with the wrist training by shining a crosshair instead of a dot. it can be done, a simple 5c filter at the tip of the laser..

Does this applies to driver n fairway wood as well?
Can you do a video or share a drill on how to stop your head from dropping down a lot in the backswing and then dropping even more in the downswing? This is something I struggle with and it prevents me from being able to fully open my front hip up against the wall like you say.

Hi Clay, I purchased 20 min swallowing and have certainly learned alot. I have an injury in my knees and struggle rotating and moving my hips, I "hit" the ball with my arms. Any suggestions on drills to get my hips open? Thanks Jeff

Come on, a laser for 130 bucks? Why not just extend the shaft with an alignment stick or an old curtain pole? Otherweise: The lecture is good!

I like the device and would love to have one, but man is that thing way over-priced - $125 really?? I did some checking and you can buy laser pens for like $20-$30 and that is for four of them. Seems to me that manufacturers of golf training aids are just taking advantage of amateur golfers and it's a shame too. Something like this should be maybe $50-$60 tops. I like and respect Clay and am even a member of Top Speed Golf, but disappointed he endorsed this product.
