The rifle, and bomb version are ok-ish but the pistol dropper is straight up horrible.

They're a flying ranged unit that's excellent for getting flanking and rear shots. They're terrible head on, but they are mobile firepower in an army that otherwise lacks fast options.

That unit of Zombie Pirate Deckhand Mob got 564 kills when he conceded defeat and the Deck Droppers got 426 WTF 😂😂
It thinks the necrofax army participated in battle but they never actually did, so it has to somehow attribute the damage the necrofaxes did even though they never entered battle.

I never paid attention to the bloated corpses before, but I love that belly flop animation. And I feel like we got some great quotes from Legend's book, "The Art of Total War" in this one. "Don't fight your enemy at their strongest, fight them at their weakest." "It can be worth it to take a step back if you can take 3 steps forward."
If you get a melee hero in combat with a bunch of ai, and then send in a bloated corpse when they're all blobbed up... it will make you tearful.

So they use the strengh of the balance of power but because they arent in the battle yet, they cant get hit o.O
that concede giving a basic infantry unit over 500 kills is amazing
"Concede defeat" is how I deal with skaven ambushes... I lure them out, escape, and chain lightning strike them afterwards.
I thought that can't be done on an ambush

@@DIEGhostfish No it does not. You can "retreat" from the menu screen.
But if you have not fled once, you can still "concede defeat"
You will potentially lose magic items though.
I rarely have the need to run from Skaven ambushes - my preferred forces of heavy infantry (such as Chosen) and cavalry (like dragon ogre shaggoths) often wipe the floor with anything Skaven bring to the field even when they technically have the advantage.
Legend made my jaw drop on the floor in the span of 2,5 minutes... This was the most skaven move I have ever seen in history of this channel. And it was not performed by skaven...

Hearing legend admit bloated corpses can be useful put a smile on my face
The only thing better than getting your bloated corpse to a successful bomb versus expensive enemy units... is blowing up an **enemy** bloated corpse amongst some expensive enemy units.

I honestly don´t even consider that withdraw cheesy. It´s not like you should be forced to reinforce your own forces in the first place, or be prevented from retreating just because your "primary" force can´t retreat. It just makes no sense.
The cheese is that the strength of the reinforcements was used to deal damage, even though they didn't take any damage at all.
@@ArzhurG True, but what I mean is, if the game is screwing me over, I am fine screwing with the game to combat that.

@@SpencerLemay Sure, but getting a cheat engine is definitely way more work than just cheesing it a bit. And for a lot of people, cheesing can also be fun, even though I am not a huge fan. I have actually "cheated" once in TWWH2 when a recent patch screwed with my campaign in progress and lost my Teclis several talent points. I used save parser to give them back to him and respec him :P I also tried modding the bugged Treacherous trait for the TK based on a tutorial somewhere, but it didn´t work, sadly.

More like the game should stop forcing you to reinforce anything you are able to reinforce. It makes no sense. Not only that, but it also prevents your reinforcements from retreating... for some reason.

That's how many kills the autoresolve would generate if the necrofex were fully involved. Legend withdrew before they hit the battlefield but the kill calculation remains the same.
@@01001010010001001100 Yeah I got that much, but it makes no sense why the necrofexes wouldn't get injured or killed yet all the dark elf reinforcements did even though they never entered the battlefield either

Nobody gonna talk about how the garrison army's leader name was Arthur Hornigold
if thats how many armies morathi had at strength 3 imagine how many armies the factions above her had
The sad part was that even with all those armies destroyed, Morathi never went lost the third highest power... that means that even with all those destroyed armies, morathi still has enough armies to maintain the number 3 position... ai cheats at its finest. Marathi is fielding at LEAST 25 armies.
Even though I barely understand anything he does. I still enjoy watching it and trying it out myself only to fail

On half of my high elf campaigns I've found the cult of pressure to be my greatest foe. Mainly because Morathi just plain old beats every ai army that stands against her for some reason.

I did it once when rite of primeval glory with reinforcements attacked my settlement. I surrendered before my army showed up and lighting-struck them all on my turn.

Damn i wish i knew that concede trick just yesterday. I was in this same situation, my undead army got sucked into a garrison battle and i had no winds of magic and i would have happily given up the settlement

In summary: initial retreat followed up by isolating the enemy forces with lightning strike to subject them to a Necrofex firing squad - I love it!

I have been having issues with spells like burning head and wind of death recently as well. They can be on flat ground and suddenly turn, usually to the left of cast line, to varying degrees. No idea why.
