    One of the better highlights packages out there. Still, plenty of room for improvement. Good to hear the voice overs from the players themselves. Nice to hear Tiger give Phil some respect. I tell you Phil hit two beautiful shots on 18. The approach into the green must've looked right on the money, except he was a little adrenalized and it went a tad long. And the chip, classic Phil, was right in the heart with good speed, how'd it miss!? It understood the Tiger factor and knew it's place.

    Imagine if every week was this good. Or even if Tiger and Phil had their A games 3-4 events a year at the same time. Ratings would have been huuuuge.

    5:28 Tiger went 60 consecutive rounds without a bogey??...I know Tiger was good but I never knew that good, wow!!!...That will never be beat, ever!

    Tiger is a phenomenon of golf , he has gained everything by hard work of perseverance and rigor he is the one who embodies the future hero of young golfers , from disadvantaged neighborhoods , c is a perfectionist

    This was a battle I mean Phil and tiger has always been neck to neck in majors but these low of scores they never even both been -20 at the same time and they were at the peak of there carrer and Singh was in contention too this felt like a major

    I know it should not matter, but Tiger's "Hank Swing" was beautiful. But, nobody except O'Meara still does it. And only a few can actually do the "Hank Swing". It's a weird concept, but Tiger made it look beautiful.

    • @ScratchArkkitehti
      @ScratchArkkitehti 5 лет назад +2

      cause every swing now is trackman molded unfortunately.

    • @TheLocalLt

      G Blizzard doesn’t Adam Scott still use this swing? Edit: nope he used the Butch Harmon swing, my bad.
      Back in the mid 2000s everyone used to say Scott actually had a better version of Tiger’s swing

    • @brianferris9323
      @brianferris9323 4 года назад +2

      Correct, Adam was working with Butch Harmon when Tiger was with Butch. That’s where Adam got his swing from. But even he has evolved from it.

    PGA Tour, I’m a sports broadcaster and video editor, PLEASE let me come in for free and give you real highlight videos composed of broadcast footage like other sports leagues have, No disrespect to the GREAT Jay Randolph or his narration of “PGA Tour Classics” but this would CATAPULT this channel into the stratosphere (in spite of the limitations on current event highlight vids, the tiger vids that I will create will single handedly boost the channel tenfold.). I beg you to consider this, if you truly want the best sports league channel on RUclips (as you should!)

      I was thinking the exact same thing. And to be honest, this is one of the better highlights packages out there. But there's a huge opportunity for someone who knows what they're doing to come in and turn all these classic Tiger wins into decent 90 minute highlights package. Give them a second life using good quality footage and narrative from somebody with an eye for the game.

    5:32 Im sorry, did they just say... 60th, consecutive bogey free round. There's no possible way, had to of meant 6th. 60 rounds is like 14 weeks, theres gotta be a major somewhere in there, and he definitely didn't go bogey free

    Tigers birdie putt at 17 was the money putt. Handling that, with a chance to grab the lead, is the difference between him and Phil.

    Their are a few funny rivalry stories between these two one involves this tournament I think they butted heads because the are both ultra competitive, they are legendary trash talkers and at using psychological warfare I think it was the 2001 masters when they were in contention and paired together and to prepare tiger would go over every shot he would need to hit one was a big sweeping draw3 wood he would need on 13 when they arrived to the tee Phil smoked a fade right around the corner and gave tiger a look like beat that so tiger proceeded to pull 3 wood making sure Phil saw and executed that draw he had been practicing and it flew Phil’s driver amazed he asked tiger do you always hit that 3-wood that far tiger replied no I usually hit it further 🤣 in 2005 tiger was playing in Dubai him and Stevie were watching this and they announced the winner would also get a Ford gt40 he asked tiger why aren’t we playing there right now that course is tailor made for you and if you win that gt40 you’ll have to give it to me because you’re sponsored by Buick only half serious but the next year they did play and did win as we as the following season and as they were in the scoring tent tiger tossed him the keys Stevie said he rubbed it in after seeing Phil later saying too bad about the gt40 huh? You probably wouldn’t fit anyway even tigers mom calls him hefty lefty lol Phil would no doubt ha r won more including majors if not for tiger he may have had the talent but what makes tiger, tiger is what’s between the ears tiger is just on another level when it comes to mental toughness you’d never see him squandering opportunity or choking like Phil and a stat that puts that into perspective is their win % when leading after 54 holes Phil only only came out on top 35% of the time but what was tigers? 97 F$&@ing percent just one of his wildest stats Phil can’t touch

    PhilM complimenting Tiger's eagle is words with clenched teeth, not really meant, just trying to gee himself against a better player in Tiger Woods. Tiger more generous comments against Phil than the other way round. Phil has always had a chip on his shoulders when it comes to Tiger, sadly. Tiger is ALWAYS GENEROUS AGAINST HIS RIVALS, PHIL ISN'T.
