That's how good Tiger was back in the day....8 tournaments without a win and everyone is saying he was slumping lol
exactly, there are people who go their whole careers without winning a single event.
Won 16 of 28 fist starts!!! That 57%
Geez Rory should just quit
he was 4 strokes ahead of mickelson, then birdied 3 of the last 5 holes (including the 72nd hole) to win by one... what a finish... that approach shot from the rough was CLUTCH.
the lady picked up the ball 39:07 and put it back. her and her husbands reactions are hilarious.
42:01 even Arnold Palmer knew this cat was cold blooded!!!
During Tiger's 8 tournament "slump", he had 5 Top 5, 1 Top 10, and 2 Top 15 finishes. lol
Lol
He was cashing out, even in a slump
"Sergio's engaging smile and winning personality has made him in instant fan favourite." Wow, that's how you know it's the early days in America!
azapro911 yea that didn’t last long, although he was still pushed by the media as a fan favorite for years
AN ENGAGING SMILE> WRONG. THIS IGNORAMUS HAS AN ENGAGING SALIVA FOR SPITTING IN THE CUP. WINNING PERSONALITY? WRONG AGAIN . HE IS A PERSISTENT LOSER AND A WELL KNOWN RACIST.
🤣😂
Definitely the most hilarious "slump" in sports history.
Everyone knows Tiger always went into each tournament expecting to win every time, and that 2000 season was so good, he'd made everybody else think that way too.
One of the classic symptoms of being the GOAT. Makes me think of every time Tom Brady's had two poor games in a row throughout the last seven years, the media starts writing him off and he meets them in the Superbowl every single time.
Tiger’s second shot on the Par 4 (18th) has to be top 10 greatest shot he’s ever had
8:00 this was Tiger’s best swing of the week. Insanely good shot
wish I could get on a slump like that
after watching this several times, by the crowd's reaction to Tiger's incredible putt at 18. they wanted Phil to win.
Jeez this was almost 20 years ago, man time flies.
18:08 LOL biggest gambler 😂😂”he’ll gamble whether the sun comes up”
39:37 what a shot
One of the most satisfying win of Tiger because he was able to birdie the 18th, got the lead back for the win plus its the hardest hole of the tournament. Nobody can be better than that. Lol!
Phil looked robbed lol. I can only imagine what he thinks his career could have been if Eldrick never played golf.
I'm not sure how many 2nd place finishes to Tiger Phil has ever had, but I can tell you it's not many. So I don't know if that's true or not.
Actually he’s very glad Tiger played golf. Before Tiger came on the scene, the winner of a golf tournament earned $300,000 or so
when you brought out the missus and kids to your victory parade and the cat pees on your leg, its not funny.
I have tried thru the years to give Garcio the respect I'm sure he probably deserves at times but I struggle with it!
I love theze videos… thank u editorz 🙏🏽
Tiger captured the imagination of the world ......
Tiger is a golf ace, his 20-year-old golf course and to this day 40 and +
he has gained everything by hard work of perseverance and rigor he is
the one who embodies the hero of young golfers, becoming disadvantaged
neighborhoods, c is a perfectionist who thinks that to win, competition
is his spearhead the win has taken everything
I remember this win, the Tiger slump back then was such big news. I miss those days.
that look at 13:44... no messing around
And they hate each other
At 27:52... that was probably about 127mph swing... with a 43.5" Steelshafted driver!
These baggy shirts and slacks are hilarious now lol
Tiger had the mental strength of 3 wise men.
The 18th at Bay Hill: Tiger owns that hole.
DOERS (Tiger, the most exciting and successful golfer over the past 25yrs) DO; while TALKERS (media commentators) just BLURB because they CAN'TDO!! Bravo Tiger! You had the last laugh and a WIN!🎉 15:34
What's so funny about this video is the reaction Phil's wife had, like you are not going to get any tonight.......lol
09:36
3:01 bruh
They are getting mad that he’s not playing well lmao
Number of titles doesnt make one better than the other. The GOAT conversation is opinionated in most sports. BUT Who do you think played the best at their best?? And do you think Tiger can become better than he was barring injuries?
Qred09 it is definitely possible for tiger to become what he was again...
He won the masters beating some of the players who have been better than him for years
Jack and Annie where the best of their era...
The 80's was Seve
The late 90s and throughout the 2000s is Tiger
Tiger is the GOAT in terms of golf. I can see the arguments in favour of Nicklaus wrt to Majors won and equipment. The truth is that Tiger’s competition was greater in depth than Jacks and he outplayed them all consistently between 1997 til 2009. If he had remained injury free he would easily have surpassed Jack’s major tally. I don’t think he will dominate to the same extent again. I expect him to play a limited number of tournaments ( even when he played full time he was not a prolific player) focussing on preparing for and peaking in time for the majors. I hope he does it (beat Jacks record). His fitness levels and nutrition are better than Jacks we’re so I don’t think his age will hamper him as much.
23:59
Tiger's group was 2 holes behind, ha ha.
0:19 1:22 1:37 3:00 3:12 5:43 8:00 15:16 18:24 19:26 22:11 22:51 24:35 25:46 26:50 27:51 30:36 35:48 38:22 39:44 40:34 .
18:06
Steve Williams still thinks he's a big shot, & he could not even learn how to properly High-five with Tiger in all these years!
I love that they made this series of videos. BUT whoever decided to go with the 90’s-style National Geographic commentary and “bitchin’ guitar solo” (I’m just assuming that’s the official name of the sound clip) somehow managed to significantly detract from a sure hit.
LOL you realize this is super old right??? Like this came out in 2003 or around then
@@garethwillmott4234 and it was tacky then too. 🤷🏽♂️
Imagine if Phil wasnt in a diviot.... What a epic playoff it would’ve been
All you Media Pessimistis, take yr 'SLUMP' shove and smoke it, says Tiger, the winner😂🎉
