Good video! We will be making our 4th trip to Venice in May. It is actually the rebooking of the same trip we had to cancel due to Covid. Nice apartment for 10 days and a great terrace to enjoy the mornings on. We both still love trying to get lost while finding wonderful places to eat and drink. The most magical place we have ever seen. My biggest advice is, wake up at 4:30am, get out and about by 5:30am and watch a place that looks so huge with no one else about, to, packed in place by the day trippers and the cruise peeps. We were amazed by the early morning stillness of Venice.
woukd u mind sharing how many days u spent in each place in italy? i’m trying to plan out logistics. also, where did u land and did u travel by train between places?
We spent 2 weeks total in Italy! 4 in Rome, 5 in Florence with day trips, and 3 in Positano. We landed in Rome and took a train to Florence, trains for the day trips or tours, we took a train to Naples and then a car to Positano. Then flew out of Rome to go home!
Is it possible to share the Gondola ride with random tourists? im traveling with one friend and dont want to pay 40 euro each, so would tourists who are also wanting a gondola ride agree to share the gondola ride ? win win for all
I think so, but you would have to find other tourists yourself and see if you don't mind riding together. When we went there were not many tourists around the gondolas so we did not have the option to ask another couple. It may also be a good idea to ask the gondolier if that is an option, they are very helpful
