I want to say thank you for giving complete info on amount of yarn used, size chart etc. I also love how calm and how detailed your explanation and directions you show.
Referred by PassioKnit Kelsie! ❤ I can't wait to whip up some of these gorgeous tops! Thank you for an easy to follow tutorial! I absolutely love how these tops turned out! 😊
i can't explain how much i´m enjoying this tutorial, i chose a beautiful 8% mohair cake soft rose/brown, i wanted to find the right proyect for it, and this is perfect!!! i love your designs and your teaching!!
you are hands down the best crochet channel I've come across. Very clear instructions with sizing modifications for different sizes, You don't rush through things. I love your channel!
i made this out of double crochets only cause i dont like the look of treples and it worked out as well! had to change some things but only slightly and i eyebawled everything which suprisingly worked really well! love the tutorial!
@@maya-gj5ex hey i sorta eyeballed everything but the main thing i had to change was to make some extra chains under the armpits so my arms can actually fit through them lol if you want you can gibe me your insta and i can sent u a picture and explain stuff if you want :)
hello even I made the top with double crochets, the pattern doesn't change much just the number of rows will increase quite a bit. So, you can follow the same pattern for the neck and arms, just check the length and increase the rows accordingly ( hope this helps someone) absolutely love the top! thank you~
Just finished crocheting this in pink and now i wanna make this in white and black, I'm just so obsessed with how it fits me, finally a crochet piece that is not revealing but is super easy and fast to make, really thank u for this tutorial ♡
i’ve been looking for a pattern for a top like this to wear to a concert in a few weeks - thank you as always for the super clear instructions, can’t wait to get started later today 🥰
thank you so much for making such a detail tutorial. Nuances are so important for beginners and i appreciate you clarifying (pulling) the slip knot so you don’t mistake it for a stitch. Or letting us know to turn right to left etc. Please please keep making more tutorial. I am going through your playlist and feeling super accomplished rn after finish l some projects :^) thanks again!
I'm an absolute beginner who made this today (well, I was working on it yesterday and today I finished the last 7 rows, because I ran out of yarn 🙈) for my mum, changed the size to XS and the tutorial was very easy to follow! Thank you so much, you're truly talented! ✨
Thank you so much for this pattern and great instructions in this video. It was great you included in your written instructions for a larger build person like myself, it's turned out perfect, I've started another one in a different colourway ❤
The detail of explanation is perfect🙏 I've never been this relaxed while following a crochet tutorial :) I don't have to worry about whether or not Inunderstood the counts correctly because you show everything so clearly
Yes, Yes, Yes! This pattern was so easy. This is one of the best videos that I have ever seen. I even like the instructions in the corner. This helps with reading the instructions and learning terms. I know that I will be stocking : ) her . I finally made something that my daughter wants to wear. Thank you!
This is so insanely easy & quick to work up!! I’ve only been working on mine on & off for 2 days & it’s very nearly finished. Super appreciate the written pattern & inclusion of stitch count at each row & for every size!
Hello, I just watched your video on the crochet top-down crop top, and I have to say, it's absolutely stunning! The design is so intricate, and the colors you chose really complement each other. The attention to detail and the overall craftsmanship is truly impressive. You did an amazing job! Keep up the fantastic work!
Thank you for this tutorial. I was able to make my first top with clear, concise instructions. I extended it to my liking and it looks good. Thanks again
At last count, i have now made 6 of these tops. From size small to size xlarge. From no sleeves to long sleeves. Great pattern. Thank you so much! The granddaughters dnap them up as soon as i finish them
How long is length of the size large top you made? I've got one I'm working on but not sure how long I should make the length of top. A Friend requested full length top with short sleeves. What length did you do? Or any ideas to help me?
@@SayaKisaragi18 I can't really remember. I will have to see if I still have my notes, but I believe I made the top to waist length or about 19". I'm an older woman so I try to keep my tops at least 19" long. I do know that the oversized XL top I made at 24" length. For the small, 16", and the medium was 17". I tried the smaller sizes on my granddaughter then had her reach her arm straight up to make sure the bottom of the top was still below her tatas.
@pamelaferguson7766 that's perfect! My customer is older lady too I'm sure she wants it longer. So then I should stop soon bec my length is about that. If you did 19" then I will stop there too.
Thank u so so much for this tutorial it was amazing and so easy to follow finished it in Abt 2h and a half and wasn't even confused once on what u were doing very clear tutorial thank uu
This is the best top down tutorial ever! Your sizing is perfect! I have made 2 tops already and working on a 3rd for my sister! Thanks for your stitch counts and beautiful quality!
What an amazing tutorial! Very easy to follow (I have crocheted for a while but always blankets and such, never a garment). The top works up quickly and fits beautifully. I'm a UK size 16 and the size 'L' fits me perfectly. Please make more tutorials! I would love to see a pencil skirt with lacy edge/fringing or a sun dress for summer!
Making this now for my sister.. i just crossed the arm hole, it is coming out so well. I had to adjust the chains under the arm to just 1, but otherwise excellent pattern. Thank you!!❤
Thank you so so much!!!! I never thought I could make a cute top by myself but I DID!!!! so grateful for your tutorial please keep on going with your great work you are an amazing teacher!!!!
PLEASE HELP !! I need a in depth (magic circle) tutorial. You are the only & I mean one & ONLY crochet influencer that I've learned from, thank you so much. Your tutorials are unbelievably helpful & only ones i can understand the 🥹 you are great 💕
I appreciate how clear and complete your instructions are. I do have a question, though. The pattern instructs us to count the chain 2s and chain 3s at the beginning of each round as stitches for our stitch counts. However, when you join the rounds with a slip stitch, you skip over the chain 2 or 3 and slip stitch directly into the first stitch after that. Does that mean that we lose a stitch every round? Thank you!
Hi, great question! The answer is No, we don't lose any stitch at all. You see, after slip-st to join the round in the first dc/tr stitch we would tighten-up the Slip-stitch, the sl-st after you tighten will be fixed in place which is on top of the c2/c3 of previous round, while at the same time you'd also see the stitch you sl-st still has an available space (where you will crochet in at the end of the round, the V on top of that stitch). So basically by the end, in that very first dc/tr that we are talking about there are: a slip-st that's no longer visible because we tighten it up and a last stitch of the round! I hope this helps ✨and don't hesitate to ask me further if you need 💕
Thank you! i was able to complete the tutorial for XL with less than one skein of mandala sparkle (two colors were left ) and when i finished the skein i had the perfect size XL crop top . i appreciate how the front is shaped it makes for a perfect nursing top to go overs tank tops so i dont have to keep whipping my tatas out to feed,,
Yea please, make the RUclips tutorial for adding lace pattern to top down crop top. I am really happy I have found you here on RUclips. I have subscribed and I press your like buttons💛
I finally got down to adding the length. I'm surprised at how blind I am. I just can't seem to find my stitches and I've lost a few along the way. Sometimes I'm not sure if I'm crocheting in a stitch or not. But anyway, I probably should have stayed with the small. The top lies low on her shoulder blades, and gapes in the back. So that she can wear it until she grows into it, I made a crochet cord to thread through the upper stitches to loosely gather the neck. I plan on making this again. It really becomes her, but I have to say that next time I will be following your pattern for the alternating tc and dc. It's much prettier. Thanks again.
thank you so much for the tutorial! i made 5 tops so far and non of them fit like an actual top. not this one! im so happy with how it looks and fit. for anyone else making this: my bust is 35-36 (M-L according to size chart) and after sizing down to a 4.5mm hook using #3 100% cotton yarn (very little stretch), the M i made still came out big. make sure to visually compare your tension to the video (i can't get my stitches to look as tight even with a 4.5mm) and put the top on as you go. i finished the top in a little over a day (8 hours of continuous crochet max). i plan on making an S in with 5mm hook and see how it turns out
Thank you for this design! I watched Passioknit Kelsie crochet it in one of her vlogs. I made mine with Lion Brand 24/7 Cotton in colors Jade and Pink Lemonade...stripe pattern of 4 rows Jade, one row Pink Lemonade. Also, made a medium 19 1/2" long. It is super cute. ❤
I just purchased pattern, thank you ❤ saw passionknit making this. I was already learning a different style top like this, but this looks like a bit more of what I want cant wait to it.
@ABoCStudio I am actually really loving your pattern. I already finished the small size for my sister birthday gift which was supposed to be for November but I gave it to her early, bec I finished it so fast. Your pattern is easy to follow along with the video help too. And I've already made me a top in medium size using 4#weight yarn red heart granny yarn. I love it. I'm planning to do more.
You are very easy to understand and the pattern is easy to follow as well, unfortunately I have been counting and counting for row 4 size M and have done the same thing over and over again, ripping up several rows and redone them to make sure I have the right amount of stitches, but I keep getting and counting to 112 Rows for some reason, any idea as to what I am doing wrong? I’d really appreciate the help❤
Started a 2nd one. The first one was pretty, but too big and I made it all in hdc. This second one is made to pattern. Fits her perfectly, except for it's really big around the rib cage. I'm making it a couple of inches longer than the pattern, and if needed, I'll add a tie or sew in elastic at the bottom. This one turned out much nicer. Again thank you for the pattern and the tutorial. It really has that 70's vibe, and I think I'll add to that with a pair of crocheted bell bottoms🙂

Excellent instruction. I appreciate the detailed details ❤
Lovely💞I'm glad you like it 🧶✨
I appreciate how clear and complete your instructions are.

I just purchased pattern, thank you ❤ saw passionknit making this. I was already learning a different style top like this, but this looks like a bit more of what I want cant wait to it.
Amazing 💞 hope you’ll like it🧶
@ABoCStudio I am actually really loving your pattern.
I’d really appreciate the help❤
i feel so lucky i found ur page

Hi, absolutely best tutorial...
I was wondering when you make the foundation chain, what measurements are you basing it on.
Thanks..😊
It's on the upper-shoulder 💞❤
Very very good instructions ❤❤
Glad you think so!❤❤❤
i love your videos thank you so much for helping me create beautiful things!!
I'm so glad!🥰🥰🥰
I made this top xl large it looks great and pattern was easy
🥰🥰🥰
Started a 2nd one. The first one was pretty, but too big and I made it all in hdc. This second one is made to pattern. Fits her perfectly, except for it's really big around the rib cage. I'm making it a couple of inches longer than the pattern, and if needed, I'll add a tie or sew in elastic at the bottom. This one turned out much nicer. Again thank you for the pattern and the tutorial. It really has that 70's vibe, and I think I'll add to that with a pair of crocheted bell bottoms🙂
Amazing💞 thank you for sharing
