    Excellent! Thank you for sharing! I love seeing that these practical life activities are attainable without having to attend a Montessori school. My three older boys (24, 15 & 12) are all graduates of Montessori schools. I’m home now with two year old twins and it keeps me motivated to see all the things that are possible if we continue to be patient and keep trying.

    I love your video's. I wish I was your little daughter, playing and learning with all the wonderful elements you carefully chose and created. It so inspiring, even for me while I don't even have children (let alone a partner). I am now looking at my small appartment from the eyes of a child and implementing some of your tips as well. Because I want my space to be child-friendly when friends with small children pass by.
    Also I'm so excited to make a functional play kitchen myself. I'm a self-employed cook and really love the idea of cooking together simple meals with toddlers. Yay!

    Wow. Just woow. How beautiful if this video. I have one question. My baby boy is 18 months old. We already practice Montessori life style at home as much as possible. I still need to install shelf work. My question is what to do if baby directly goes to the complex activity. If I take example of pouring, he loves wet pouring, Transfering water. So if I have all the activities from simple to complex, m sure he will go to wet pouring first. What to do in this case?? Should I let him do it???

    • @hazieandmotherhood
      @hazieandmotherhood  Год назад +1

      Absolutely! If that's what your child wants to work on yes. Kids don't understand which ones simple and which ones complex, they just simply follow their interest.. if you didn't want your child to do the wet pouring, because you think it's too complex for him, you can just remove it from the shelf for a while and try again but otherwise I'd just follow their interest. Hope it answers your question! 😉

    For anyone cautious about the knives, those nylon knives wouldn't be able to give you a cut even if you tried (I tried before letting my toddler handle it😅). They've been phenomenal for encouraging more food exploration through food prep 🥰
    Love how beautiful all of your individual set ups are. Calm, beautiful, and inviting!

    • @hazieandmotherhood
      @hazieandmotherhood  Год назад +2

      Thank you Maria! I try to keep it calm and beautiful but doesn't always work 😂 Just with the nylon knives, we found it pretty good at cutting cucumbers, mushrooms, tomatoes and even apples! I'm assuming they are different in USA and Australia? 🤔😅 Donno.

    This is something I've been wanting to work on with my 5 year old who is deaf and autistic. She loves watching us cook, do dishes, etc. We usually don't let her do the dishes with us cause of knives, etc and she tends to make a mess but maybe we should let us jump in again and help. How much was the little kitchen station Alina has?

    Hate my water dispenser, I bought it and didn't use it for like 2 months, when I was ready to use it it didnt stay charged. You charge it for an entire day and it only works as soon as you disconnected, can't leave it in the kitchen over night cuz when your ready to use it in the morning is dead. 😩 Idk if mine was defective.
