  • A week of cooking and baking with my 3 year old toddler | How we Montessori at home
    We love to spend time together in the kitchen cooking and baking almost every day!
    I usually get most of dinner stuff ready before I pick Alina up from daycare at 4:30pm and as soon as she gets home, we put on our aprons and jump right into cooking.
    I also share some really simple and delicious recipes that you can do with your toddler!

    I came across a video recently about things parents should allow their kids to experience. They were playing near heights, playing near a fire, playing in open water and some others I can't remember.
    How would you navigate this? I'll share the link to the post if I can find it.

    Hello Hazie, I would love to see a video about tidiness and messiness. How does it work in your household? Every now and then I see that Alina leaves her toys lying around, or things are not tidied up in the morning at your place. I am a perfectionist and if the kids don't immediately put everything away after playing, it often drives me crazy. Especially when my twins don't want to help. Often, neither a friendly nor a stern tone helps, they just leave everything for me to clean up. Do you have any tips and tricks? Thank you for your work, it has inspired me and given my twins a big boost in their development.

      I simply just made peace with it.. I mean I do remind Alina to clean up her own mess and I try to involve her in cleaning most of the times but still.. it's not ideal to expect perfection from a 3-year-old toddler.. so I incorporated this new cleaning method called the tiktok timer method, so you setup a timer and clean for only 20 minutes and once the alarm goes off you stop cleaning. this way I don't spend too much time cleaning. So these days, I only spend my time cleaning the house less than an hour everyday (it's not just cleaning cleaning, it's more like quick burst cleaning) and i feel like our home is cleaner than ever. hope this helps...

      @@hazieandmotherhood I'd be stoked if you ever made a video about it. I'm sure I'm not the only frazzled mum who watches your videos and thinks their kids are impossible when it comes to tidying up. You and Alina make it look so easy, like she always gets it and does it just the way you explain it. A "Alina doesn't do everything perfectly" video would be ace. 😊

    안녕하세요. 한국에서도 잘 보고있어요. 저도 늘 관심은 있었지만 실천하지 못했는데 헤이지님 보면서 실생활에서 사용가능 한것들을 적용하려고 하고 꽤나 많은 생활 루틴이 바뀌었어요~
    영상에 나오는 매트와 조리도구는 한국에서는 구매할 수없는건가요? 비슷한것으로 사보려고 검색해봤는데 통일감있고, 실제 요리에 사용할 수있는 괜찮은 조리도구가 없네요.. 정보를 더 알고싶어요! 정보를 주신다면 정말 감사하겠습니다! 좋은하루 보내세요! (영상은 너무 잘 보고있어요😍)

    Hello. I like very much yo see your videos. I have a question. Does Alina is always calm like this? Or there is hard days also? I have a baby of 9 months and some days are hard.

      Hi! Alina is naturally an easygoing kid, but she does throw tantrums, and there are definitely hard days as well. I try to do Montessori positive discipline wherever Alina throws a tantrum and it usually works well.

    처음으로 댓글 달아봅니다~^^;;
    아린이와의 행복한 일상 잘 보고 있어요~ 저도 이제 14개월되는 아기 엄마 간호사에요~
    지금은 일은 쉬고 있구요~ 몬테소리는 책만 보신건지 교육을 따로 받으신 건지 궁금해요~~
    막상 몬테소리를 적용하려하면 제 생각과는 너무 다르게 흘러가더라구요ㅋ
    좋은 영상과 아이디어 주셔서 감사해요~^^

      안녕하세요 댓글 감사해요! 저는 따로 교육받은건 아니고 책보고 독학했어요! 저도 두돌 전까지는 제대로 하고있는건지 잘 모르겠다가 아이가 좀 협조를 하기 시작하면서부터 본격적으로 재미를 붙이게 된거같아요. 두돌 되기 전까지는 그냥 마음 내려놓고 편하게 하는게 정신건강에 좋은것같아요 ㅎㅎ;;

      정신없이 교구를 빨고 던지는 아기를 보며 내가 뭐하고 있나 멘붕이 자주 오거든요~
      내려놓기 정말 좋은 방법입니다~^^
