I am a part time registered nurse at a surgical ward and currently 7 months pregnant with our baby number 2.
In today's video, I take you guys into our home and show you what our Fridays look like in our Montessori home. I am sharing how my 2 year old daughter gets herself ready in the morning and what my typical work day looks like.

Hazie, I have already told you that you are my favourite youtube mom but let me dwell on what I love about your channel. ❤️😘🤗 I love your intro, the music, and the volume. Normally these are not syncronized in other videos and it drives me crazy. I love that you do not focus on yourself or Alina but on the topis you are presenting showing actual practical. I am listenig to your voice and actually watching what you talk about and not you which makes me cutious and wanting to catch a moment and see your and Alina's faces.

Yes on a math video! And I’d love to see content on language activities too. I think you’d be surprised to know how many moms are trying to raise bilingual children. I’m Korean American trying to raise bilingual kids while also implementing Montessori principles at home so I love your channel! Thanks for all the great content!

we're primarily speaking in Korean at home and she's just started to learn English as she started attending a local childcare centre. (She's been going to a daycare which is run by her grandma and all other kids are Koreans. so she's had a limited exposure to English for someone who lives in Australia.)
So technically Alina is not bilingual yet. and bilingualism is definitely something that i need to learn and research a lot more about it too!
You're doing a great job. Such an inspo. Like her toys, give her fewer options for clothes too. That'll decrease frustrations hopefully
Hazie, I'm soooo glad I stumbled upon your channel! 🥰❤I discovered Montessori after the birth of my first son and my partner and I have been trying to implement more Montessori teachings into our parenting ever since. One thing we have yet to fully finalise is the ideal set up of the Montessori environment at home which is why I love the video you created showing how your home is set up to encourage and cultivate Alina's independence. Absolutely loved it and this video shows how much Alina has thrived from all the work and efforts you put in. Amazing work mama! Our oldest son attends a Montessori nursery and with the recent arrival of our second son (nearly 1 month old already), we aim to redesign our home environment so that both our sons can thrive in their development following the Montessori way which is why I find your content so helpful to see. So happy to have found your channel! I’m at the end of my pregnancy with my first and I’ve worked in a Montessori school years ago so I’d like to have this home set up with my little one. Excited to see you are also expecting your second! Curious how you’ll do some newborn Montessori stuff. Also, was wondering if you have any suggested classic Korean children books, music or toys, as we will be introducing Korean to our baby from the start due to my partner being of Korean decent.
this video is a year old, but it helps to pull out 2 options youre ok with in each category and have her choose. montessori is about freedom within limits, so letting her know "what you pick is what you wear and you cant change" is perfectly okay if it becomes bothersome.

I'd like to share this information regarding keeping gummy vitamins in reach of children, for anyone watching:
Thousands of children are treated in emergency rooms every year due to accidental supplement overdose. So parents: please consider carefully how you choose to manage your child's access to their vitamins. An option might be to keep a small amount available to them in a separate container and store the main stash away.
Of course, every parent knows best what will work for their family. :)

We typically don't "undo" the materials in a Montessori setting, like the knobbed cylinders. Those are presented beautifully completed for the child and the first step of the presentation is to take it apart on the rug 🥰
