Sorry for the subpar audio at the end of the episode. I’m traveling for work, and I had to record some of the voiceovers in my hotel room, which unfortunately meant unavoidable background noise!
Being card dead is awful. You can be a great player, but you can’t make cake 🎂 without flour. Being forced to play cards is bad also, after two hrs of bad cards I learned to table change in cash 💵 games. Thanks for the vid
As always hun fantastic vlog. Unfortunately we all have games that we are card dead, but as this vlog showed us all you need is one hand to turn things around. Congrats on the win. Til the next vlog take care hun xxx
Yeah, she seems solid for sure! She 3-bet me a couple times, which was rough considering I was pretty card dead and wasn't raising much at all because of it. 😅
Huggie, congrats on achieving a win when your so damn card dead. You picked your spots well and your thought process was pretty on point. The only thing I would say is play your game using your thought process and to hell with how it looks on live stream. Of course I imagine that's easier said than done, especially since I've never experienced it. The only reason I say it is because you seem to have regretted a couple hands when it seemed you were influenced by how you looked. I do understand that it probably takes playing in a few for it not to effect you. For the most part tho, I say you did great. You managed to book a win in the dead zone and that's hard enough to do when your not on live stream. Prayers for your family and health brother, and as always Good luck on the felts!!!
Thanks, Ray. Yeah, I know playing on stream shouldn't effect me, but like you mentioned, it's easier said than done! I think getting more experience with it under my belt will be helpful. Pulling out a win on both live streams I've played so far has been helpful on that front though!
another good vlog huggie, keep them coming. to hell what viewers think about the way your played a hand, its your money lol. refering to the hand with king kai when you had the j against his straight lol.
Haha, thanks Jerry! Everyone's gonna have an opinion, it's part of putting yourself out there. All that said, I realistically should have folded the AJ hand on the turn, and I even felt that way at the table when putting the chips in. But, I make mistakes, and I'm including them with the good stuff. 🤷
Commentators couldn’t even tell whether you were in position or out of position (which I tried to explain to them but they couldn’t understand). This hand is a good flat especially when you’re getting a price to call IN POSITION.
Yeah, I think their live stream has potential for sure, but there are some rough edges they'll have to iron out as you could see. I'd like for them to have better audio surrounding the table chatter.
Not only does your opponent c-bet with QQ, he overbets 2x pot. This is an easy fold, especially when you’re probably getting shoved on when the turn comes.
Considering a Texas poker trip. Probably will play 1/2, 1/3 or 2/5 at most. Realistically going low stakes 1/2-3. What would be a good bankroll for Texas rooms for a weekend. Considering bringing 3k so I wouldn’t normally bust out. Good number or more?
It depends on how much you're wanting to buy in for. Most of the $1/3 games around here have an initial max buy-in of $600, but it's a match-the-stack game, and it ends up playing pretty deep a lot of the time. One recent session, I had $4k in front of me while several others had $7k in front of them. Big swings could happen on any given hand, considering that. Obviously you don't have to buy in for the max, and you can cash out if it becomes uncomfortable for you. The $1/2 games are typically $300 max & capped. Whatever you play, good luck!
do you have to ask permission to record at the table? or do you just set your phone on its side with the camera at the bottom? always been curious how vloggers do it since most casinos/rooms refuse to let you record
Yeah, my plan going into the night was to play aggressive like at my last live stream, but unfortunately I was just so card dead this particular night. I only really got to play aggressive in the last hand since the cards just didn't go my way for the most part.
@@HuggiePoker I mean if you’re just folding to a standard raise with suited connectors when closing the action, you’re playing too tight and leaving EV on the table in all likelihood.
If the graphics are accurate, you’re only 80bb effective. Facing a 4x open, this is a lot shallower than I’d like with hands like this. So maybe you can start to make a case for folding hands like this out of position. Maybe. But I don’t see how you can fold in position, against a small blind open, and closing the action; not sure what the commentators are smoking.
Call me a snowflake, call me sensitive, call me what ever, but I don’t think these poker rooms should allow people without shirts. What’s next, where does it stop? What is the purpose?
Yeah, I'd prefer the clothes to stay on too lol. He was going for a thing, and he nailed it...until someone complained, and he had to put his shirt back on anyway. 😆
@@HuggiePoker to be honest that is pretty crazy, one can only imagine what goes on in that mind. Now if it was a prop bet or a dare then It makes some sense. I’m glad someone complained, that’s insane behavior and will only push other people to do crazier stuff.

Learning from that spot on the river w king Kai, I will bluff the full house with a push especially if I’m that vested. Let me know if that the play?

Wow right next to Caitlin! Lucky you. Sucks she was on your left though, she's a pretty tough opponent.

Great vlog. Like your play style. Nice to book a dub with those cards
Hey, thanks Dac! Hopefully we'll get some better hands next time! 😄
Nice to see you on this LiveStreams! Wanna see more of that!! Congrats on the W
Thanks, PK! I've had more opportunities that I unfortunately couldn't take up, but hopefully will be able to again soon!
GG Huggie!!!!! Good to see you book a solid win. 👍
Thanks, Ian!

Dude really has the shirtless-tattooed-type body 🤣👍
👌
Good stuff buddy
Thanks, Chris!
It’s really hard to play when you don’t get cards and end up playing T3dd. The AJo feels like a fold given that board configuration
Yeah, I'm not happy with my AJ hand either. But I've gotta include the bad plays too, it's the only way to improve.
@@HuggiePoker I respect that man, it’s good to have that way you can always visit it later.
67s is a fine defend

Yeah, I'm curious to see what others think too, but I like defending with this type of hand for the right price relative to stack sizes.

A win when card dead wow well done dude
Thanks, Allan!
Is that a Huggie Poker zip up jacket??? How do I get one of those?
I'll share a way soon! 😉
@@HuggiePoker hell yeah! Gotta rep that shit here in Florida
What kind of back alley card room is this where they allow members to play shirtless? It’s trashy and I wouldn’t want to play around that
At 04:44:I am confused that don’t your 59o get a straight at river? Why don’t you just give up?
At 3:58 I mention that the graphic is wrong, my hand is actually K9.

I've always gotten permission to record before doing so. I know some vloggers will try to sneak it, but I'm not comfortable doing that personally.
Haha number 1 like again
No shirts, no shoes...never mind.
Thankfully he put it back on! 😂
dude how is that guy allowed to play without a shirt wtf?
¯\_(ツ)_/¯
That AJ was not optimal, you need to fold.
Yeah, I definitely agree. I regretted putting the chips in, but stuck with the line to see it through.
Way too passive. Happens tho.

Guy with no shirt is disrespectful.
76s is an easy defend there. I don't know who the commentators are, but that is blasphemous.
