Been using battery saw 12 inch for 4 years. 2 original batteries working just fine.amazed that more folks don use them on the little stuff!? At 60 plus the big saws just wear me out. Thankz forc sharing.
@@maxschlum8898 I ended up returning the t435 getting a t540 (gas burner) and I'm fairly impressed. I'm not a climber I was looking for a saw to keep in the cab of my track hoe when I'm doing tree work.
I've always thought battery saws in the tree would be the way to go for every reason you mentioned. Do you still see a need for the gas top handle? When/where do you foresee the T540 being the better option?
I am with you I use to have the Stihl gas power 200 and yes it works good but then I buy the Stihl 16T battery power and now I already sold the gas power I find the battery power more convenient.
U can hunt with them but ur going to need a platform to put ur feet on because ur feet will get tired if u just stay spurred into the tree for long time.
I'd like to see you try an Echo CS-355T and see what you think. I have one that's been ported, muffler modded and timing advanced by Jereme Bell aka Bellhopper McCulloch Chainsaws on RUclips and Jereme Bell on Facebook from Catawba, North Carolina.
Constructive criticism, you're dropping a lot of shit onto your climbing ropes on the ground - get them out of the way it will damage them! and yes 12'' bar is far better up aloft (over 30 years experience).
How do you like the 540XP your honest opinion I bought 2 of them when they 1st came out many years ago they lasted maybe 6 months have they changed at all I like the saw but it did not last long do you think I should buy another one now that they've been out for many years
So the battery power one really has more power than the gas power that's hard to believe but I believe but I believe you because I know you ran them both
Free enterprise is alive and well. Proud to be a sub and love and appreciate what you do.
The climbing stuff is really cool. Great job on the video
Love the belt and rope set up. Ours are set up similar

I think I need to trade the T435 I got yesterday for a T540xp after watching this.
I hate my t435

Satisfying to watch!

With the battery package ur paying for ur gas upfront. I see the battery top handle as the better option.
@@cotontop3 Right, I'm wondering if you ever see a situation where the gas saw as has the advantage and if so when would you want that one?
Never seen a man like a chainsaw like you before! Good job!
Im eager to invest in the electric t540 this year, thanks for the reviews 👍👍
I'm not necessarily a big fan of electric equipment. But I hear great things about it and you cant beat a husky
Will you ever do tree climbing classes?
Working on putting one together now. Details will be coming but it’s looking like mid June.

Awesome, what you think about spurs for saddle hunting and your thoughts on a pair for someone who knows nothing about using them. Stay safe

You should do a climbing an rigging class
Would like to see more tree working videos.

They changed it and it is better but go for the battery 540, it smokes the gas 540.
