I was at Notre Dame Circle when the 1970 team returned in the dead of night from losing at the LA Colosseum to Southern Cal. This team deserves their welcome home, but I wish that team had had a similar welcome back in the day.
Thank you everyone for a great season. This team, coaches and support staff gave everything. As a fan for my entire 53 years of life I have never been more proud to say GO FIGHTING IRISH BEAT EVERYONE!!!! COLLEGE FOOTBALL WATCH OUT FOR ND NEXT YEAR!!!
That’s fan loyalty!! Yeah we when all the way to to the national championship, that’s 4 games against really good teams, o and by the way , that last game was against a team that pays athletes too play there….hell of season!!! Go Irish!!

@ they had plenty of rest playing easier teams throughout the season and help with only having to play Georgia and Penn State in the playoffs. Sorry but most overrated team of all time
