The way I screamed at the screen watching this! 😂😩 But seriously, watching a scenario like this from the outside really does prompt you to do some introspection and think back on the times you were missing/ignoring GLARING red flags and definitely provides lessons for future interactions. Very relatable...I was extremely naive and "sheltered" when I entered my first relationship at 23. I wasn't aware at the time how many red flags I was ignoring that "Brian" has already shown in these 2 episodes. We live and learn, and I left that toxic relationship in 2020 and listening to your videos and reading your books have been essential to my healing journey and I'm grateful as I'm more wise to the "game." No "shacking up," no to giving any grown boy with a laundry list of sob stories any money, and if he is constantly ignoring/violating your boundaries...GOT TO GO!! 🏃🏾♀️🏃🏾♀️

Wow Mr. Tony Gaskins lemme tell you. This movie resonated with me in many ways I regretfully have to admit: giving myself, my money, my time away to someone who took full advantage of me. I thought I was being “chill”, I thought if I were cool, he’d want to stay with me and change for me, not realizing that I was giving him the green light to use and abuse me.
I’m glad to say I’m not with that grown boy anymore. At the time I thought I was helping him, not realizing I was actually enabling him and keeping myself stuck. It’s a scary cycle that I stayed in for 2 wholes years. I’m 28 now. I’m sad that a lot of my pure/genuine heart went to waste, but I’m glad it made me into the woman I am today. A woman who will walk away in .0001 second as soon as I see even the slightest tint of a red flag lol

Devan, I'm glad that you as a young man is watching Tony's messages and wanting to learn how to behave respectfully. As honestly, I feel that there are a lot of men out there, trying to following the hurd, playing women, thinking it's the norm and make them 'a man', when in fact, it makes them very sad, dogs.
