same ive been waiting about 2ish months and they still dont have my cymbals yet which is the only thing ive been waiting for for a while now :/ been super excited and they are taking foreeeever but i guess thats to be expected with such a new product and a high end one at that
Gorgeous kit and great idea. they are still working out the software, probably, so thats probably why you heard the machine gunning on he hihat. With that being said, I'd still be going for a high end Roland or Efnote and saving the difference. But, this is a tremendous step and a huge release for the industry.
@@anotheryoutubed You can use it to trigger Superior Drummer 3. The sounds aren't main issue for me though. It's that you have to pay for the most expensive acoustic kit they sell in order to get electronic drums. I already have an acoustic kit, and if I were to buy another, this wouldn't be it.
the only thing is wireless in my country . Maybe not for now. I will continue with cables. Thank You DW but I will maybe wait a bit longer for this one.
DW had been working on this for 8 years prior to Roland being involved. It wasn’t the other way around. Regardless, Roland definitely helped prior to release
I still see and hear when certain cymbals are hit, the area the cymbal is being hit is not the natural sound, but an over hit “opened” sound. That would annoy me to no end….does anyone else hear that at time marker 1:00
@@DoctorMcFarlandStudios Live, I'll do that from my board, if after assessing the real ambience of the room I'm mixing, If I feel it still needs verb. I would never run a VST's "room" ambience through a live board though, and I always have had to get on the drummer's module myself to pull off all ambient crap that's there to cover their playing (in all honesty) when I mix a room. In my studio I simply create the ambience I like in the DAW, or I can easily pull up SD3 and only send any config I want of room mics etc to blend in. I like that efnote left engineering up to the engineer on the pro, leaves more memory space for what they chose to use it for. Their older modules have verb too
Cymbals noisy, hihat not accurate, snare rimshot noisy, the library still sound a gun-machine, just the good here to me is that is wireless, good luck as engineer if the drummer wants to tour with something with just 2 outputs, another thing that is a fake argument is you can convert in DW collector? No this is by far a performance, collectors comes with true hoop.
DW are the copycats, they bought Versatrigger wireless drums and integrated. Still a pretty cool kit but is only great to those who don’t really know about edrums. Even Hayward doesn’t know what he’s talking about, though he’s a great player
I've had one on order for over 1.5 months. Come on DW!!! I need my DWe drums!!
SAME. my sweetwater rep told me that DW is going to send it to them by the end of this month :/
Got my cymbals from Kraft
@@weddingsbyhamilton what bundle did you get?

Ive been waiting, too! Oh wait a second, I didnt pay them anything -- maybe thats why they havent sent mine yet... ;)
This kit is mind blowing!!!! The only slightly down sides is the cymbals the impact is loud

Game changing kit and I'm a bass player.
get your ears checked
@@anotheryoutubed what?

The drum trigger on the toms is right in the middle, when you hit it,it cuts out, this does not happen on the VAD 706 Roland 50X!
I want that drumset
This laptop could be in sound room to adjust or sound man to adjust sounds
I’ve wanted one just like this for years.
Ain’t no escaping that machine gunning hi hat at 1:42 tho
Yeah, it sounded like trash fr
Can you use them with Superior Drummer software?
Yes, it still can output MIDI data and thats all you need!

Dude! If only I could get my wife to give the ok. Not going to happen for awhile. Lol
Once again "Roland" changes the game.

Yes. It sounded terrible. And if notice, they make a concerted effort to avoid the hi hat as much as possible in this demo video
That cymbals like... cheap brass starter set. You can make the surface more luxurious than that, right?
Sorry, EFNOTE is smoking this kit in the field and a way better price
Heck yeah! Those EFNote drums are something serious!!!
Efnote doesn't have the room depth though. that is the only thing that is missing IMO.

Sounds are average at best. Efnote still winning. I have a Roland and that’s better too.

$10,000 😂😂😂😂😂😂
Nothing game changing here, ATV all the way 🎉
Wow....super game changer. Kudos DW!!! Now watch all the copy cats follow 😂🤯🤔
When the patents for their brand of wireless expires, "copy cats" will bring the prices down, not sure why that is a problem
