  • Cruising Swiss Alps Switzerland on the Honda cbr500r - Alpine mountain roads in summer.
This is part of a four day trip from Amsterdam to the Great st Bernard Pass Switzerland.
Today is the only free roaming day and it is great summer weather.
Just like planned, see the Alps all nice and green in summer
This is where I got lost the day before in bad weather and I decided to take the same route on this sunny day.
It is a great ride downhill from about 1700 meters into the valley surrounded by these great alpine mountains.
There seems to be a cycling match up and down this mountain road today and I ride down this road with what seems to be the motorcycle escort team.
I would love to have feedback from people who live in this area , thank you !

Great relaxing video. Cruising around is perfectly fine and I hate when I see riders in the rear mirror pressing me. The tunnels and town are amazing, wonderful roads to ride!

Nice videos. I really enjoy this old concept. Personally speaking, I am tired to watch motovlogs with a guy talking and talking about everything he does or watching videos with music in off I am not interested in. Nice to watch just a video feeling the engine and the nature. Great job.

I love these honest to god rides. Really gives you a feel for the cbr500r which a lot of reviews seem to miss.

Such an amazing ride mate. Switzerland is awesome. Can't believe how quiet those roads were for the 24th July. It has been one of the things putting me off riding around some parts of Europe the fact that during the summer months the roads are full of tourists and bikers. That might sound strange, but I like quiet roads to myself.
I spotted a train going past and can tell you the rail system is amazing and runs like a Swiss watch. The roof panels are glass so you can see the mountains from your seat. I want to go there next year hopefully, but I have so many routes to choose from here and in Ireland.
    Have a great weekend. :)

      Thanks
I guess I was quite lucky with the traffic situation.
This place is really amazing for riding your bike in summer, but Id sure love to get on that train you mention.

Nice Video. Is the CBR 500 good for longer distance traveling or do the wrist hurt after while?

This ride was part of a 4 day tour from Amsterdam to the Great Saint Bernard Pass, the Matterhorn and back to Amsterdam so almost 3000km
The Bike is fine for that.
The riding position is quite straight up and not like a real sport bike.
I did got quite some sadle pain do, the seat is not the best but it fuctions ;)
