Kinda dumb advice in the first place. Lots of people listen on mono Bluetooth speakers or even phone speakers sometimes.

And not only that, but even when listening to music on a stereo, if you move around and get far enough away from the speakers or off center of the speakers, the two speakers will become one single source making the sound mono. Unless you always wear headphones or always stay in between and close enough to your speakers, you will likely hear music in mono.

I honestly think he was listening to it a bit quiet cause it's actually a pretty good sounding shoegaze mix if you have the volume turned up and I can hear everything that's going on in the song pretty clearly.
@@Rowe4900candymachine I mean the reverb kind of forces you to turn the main guitar signal down. One goes up, one goes down, one has to be sacrificed. You just gotta turn it up. Dry stuff can sound louder but it's really not.

I'd agree with the roast overall, it's guitarist music and that's what I tend to like playing. Planning on branching out more with my writing in the future, I'll get back to you with another song to roast eventually!

Honestly, I found your song to be sick! I am a guitar player, admittedly, so that was definitely a contributing factor, but I feel like anyone could enjoy listening to your piece, provided they invest enough active effort to look over the somewhat subpar mixing, a tad sloppy playing in places and some unneeded complexity. I think that one thing you should try to do is implement some motives, as in short melodies you want to vary and come back to throughout the composition. But yeah, I generally think your song is pretty damn great, it definitely conveys quite a number of emotions throughout and feels somewhat like a journey, albeit a short one. Id say that this project was an uncut gem: it has great potential but lacks a lot of polishing. All in all, good job and keep doing music :D

Dear guys in Majora, just for your information, you are allowed to play notes in the scale out of order. I notice that you guys have figured out that you can ascend or descend your way through it, but you can also skip around. The I, II, III and IV in chord notation does not mean that's the order you need to play them in.
Yes, the tappy bit included different intervals, but it was literally just an arpeggio ascending back up the scale you descended in the first lead section.
It kinda reminds me of the time I decided to play guitar on acid and felt like Jimi Hendrix by just playing the root note of the song that was playing. You have discovered the most fundamental building block of music, but there is still work to do.
