How to Change Mic From PS5 Controller to Wired Headset (PS5 Mic Not Working Fix)

Do you want to know how to change your microphone on your PS5 controller to your wired headset? This is very easy to do. If your wired headset is not working try unmuting the mic on the headset itself and then plug it into your PS5 controller. Now use the mute / unmute button on the PS5 controller. If you mute your mic on the headset, on some headsets it will turn it off and disconnect it from the PS5! So you should be able to use it with your PS5 if you unmute it and then plug it in. ...

Hi i just found ur video and i wanted to say is that when i plugged my mic to the controler it made a wierd noise and then cuts in to a no audio, when i unplugged my mic i try to use my controler mic to talk but for some reason it dont work it has the mute button off, when i plugged the mic again it still dont hear nothing

Same here i just slowly pushed the chord in until i heard the sound and stopped when i heard it, because anytime i plug it all the way in it doesnt work. So the chords hanging out of the controller halfway but thts what worked for me 🤷🏾‍♂️

Under accessories it comes up with headset controller . And wireless controler . When I click on the headset menu it won't go into any option not sure how for this option to work

So the issue I believe it is is that it's not using my mic on my headset but the mic on the controller. People always say my mic sounds janky or I sound really far away... I have a pair of astro A40s when I'm away with my PS5 I don't bring the amp with me and I just plug into the controller
