I can agree with you, I know the song as an Amiga version... first heard it in 1990 as ORACLE: CRACK INTRO (BUDOKAN THE MARTIAL SPIRIT 1989), and as you can see I still listen to it.
That music is just as good as the monty on the run soundtrack. Freakin awesome. Pure nostalgc childhood trip. 10 out of 10. That sid chip was and still is away ahead of its time .
@@spidericemidasiosmusicprod1309 Rosy glasses much? The 80's wasn't just full of disposable media and artificial hype, it practically invented it! We remember the good and dispose of the bad as always. Also consider the games these tunes were attached to. Monty was successful enough, but lots of good music was used to sell downright shovelware. Care for the craft indeed. C64 had a looooot of good music due to some weird coincidences in Europe. Other platforms weren't nearly so lucky.
One of my all time favorite C64 games - mostly because of the fantastic tune, but I liked to jump around a lot, of course with the aid of the built-in trainer (I had that version), and of course I haven't been able to complete it, so thanks a lot for this longplay too!
It was one of my favorite Commodore games, too. I had to complete it - not quite sure - because I vaguely remembered that it ended in Greece. It's funny to collect euro banknotes - not yet called "euro" - and dream about the final paradise in Greece. Well, times have changed. ;-)
I liked this game and the music when I was a little kid. I had no idea of what was going on but I did like just exploring, looking at it and listening to it.
My sister lost a whole summer holiday to this aged 13 and 32 yrs ago I just had to see it all the way through, she used to infuriate me trying to jump the same impossible spot you know when somethings not gonna work but someones so bloody pigheaded the have to try over and over, oh and I had to map it in an old maths book remember the lovely squared paper? Thanks for the video.
Don't use the white airports in Yugoslavia and Prague - They're traps and they take all your tickets! I made that mistake as a kid because I got lost and thought there were more places to visit. This game and Monty on The Run loved doing that to you, they were such hard games!
I see lots of airplane scenes here. I can't find out how to do it. How to trigger it? I play this on a C64 emulator, and it's fun, until I get stuck, nowhere to go, only a few rooms back and forth, and here I see that airplane scene in the clouds, I never got to see that in my game.
What about Italy... what's "ITSA DABOSS"? and "Juventus" (a football team)? Then, it's "PISA", not "PIZZA"... Never understood the logic in this game. Maybe because there isn't one behind :D
I just found this game like 3 days ago and it's safe to say that this song will stick with me for the rest of my life
It has stuck with me for the last 30 years, so I guess you`re right about that :D

I never understood what to do, so I'd just explore the map. To this day there are still some areas I haven't got to.

Its amazing that 35 year old games designers knew that a good soundtrack can sell a game. Something that has been sadly forgotten for all modern games
shortsighted producers have never appreciated music, or anything else they can't wholly control
It was the 80s. Music was better in general. People used to care about their craft.

Monthy looks like a hamster 🐹

Oh god! This music!
One of my favorites from the good old C64...

Loved this game, used to throw my joystick across the room if I messed up an died on it 😂

Maybe she better should have been given a pet hamster 🐹 😅😅😅😅

Ah, was wondering if this one would get done! Rad!
Wow that is Monty. I never realized that it is would be such a big game
28:35 and the following 13 seconds was rather amazing!

See Monty dance at 13:03!
A single European currency ten years before the Euro. Prophetic 😊
Surprisingly awesome game considering the immense limitations the C64 had.
In contrary, listen the music, it was unbelievable in early 80s, the graphics affordable and step-by-step better than any 10 time more expensive PC
@@mrkitty777 The IBM had **embarassingly** bad graphics for the next 10 years. I'll never understand what IBM was thinking.
Did you use an emulator? If yes, which? I use CCS64, it works great but the colors aren't as bright as in your video.
The best of the series, and Monty's babe at the end gives me a slight Maria Whittaker vibe. :-)
love it
Easily the best game ever. I worked so hard to complete this and eventually did it with the help of a map from a magazine.
Best game ever? What is wrong with you?
All this over some stolen coal.
I had this game on the msx but somehow I always got stuck. Never knew there was a plane in this game.
The msx had different music in different countries ingame. Intro music was msx quality unfortunately.
What a game!
Rofl at the end Monty got laid, so it was worth the effort
Is that a Speccy port? Looks like it in most stages.
Funny to see West Germany. In that time they were still separated.
what the hell going on at the end of the game with that woman
Was just thinking the same. I ... think that he is having a drink with a lady on the beach. At least I hope so.
Film :)
This the original Monty Mole before Nintendo ripped it off?
no monty mole was the original
26:30 - wtf???
Two Greek areas: Staying and Alive. Someone thought they were being funny!

And all that is just because of a small piece of coal. If I knew, I would prefer a bit suffer from cold but never taken that coke.
Don't understand why this looks like the spectrum version.
I am a c64 fan, but this music is annoying as hell.
