I’m new to y’alls channel but I love it! It’s cool seeing parents, who are metal fans, listen to music with their kids and show them the bands they’re into. It’s like watching a torch get passed down. I just hope that my daughter and I, when she’s old enough, can enjoy metal songs together and bond like you two are. Hopefully I’m not sounding too cheesy.. sorry if I am. Lol. Anyway, love the channel, loved the video. You two just got yourselves a new subscriber! 👍
Thanks for the mention!!!!!! Metal Church latest, Damned If You Do, was released on December 7, 2018. After their first break up in 1995, Metal Church reformed in 1998 with most of their classic lineup, including Vanderhoof's return, and recorded the Masterpeace album. On April 30, 2015, Metal Church announced on their Facebook page that former singer Mike Howe had rejoined the band, some 20 years after first leaving the band. I can see how the guitar sound influenced Queensryche. Thanks for the reaction. Minor key, yes. Kay looked tired. I heard this song in a B-grade horror movie but I can't recall the name of it, sorry!
Love Metal Church, this is a great song from a great album... And yes, I hear what you’re saying, the guitar in the intro always reminds me a little bit of Metallica’s Welcome Home (Sanitarium) from Master of Puppets, I get that same kind of vibe, great album too, both albums are from 1986, Metallica released their album a short time before this album and they have toured and hung out together, some similarities occurs here and there sometimes in music, but I just enjoy the music... :) Great reaction... :)
This makes me very happy that you reacted to this song. Great reaction video guys. 😊. This is one of my favourite songs with their original singer, David Wayne. The music video for this song is pretty good too! 😊. You’re going to love their songs with their second singer, Mike Howe. I already suggested a bunch of Metal Church songs in your last video for Band-Maid! By the way, I think Metal Church is from Aberdeen, Washington. 😊. Have a great week guys! 😊
The band is still very much together. They recently reunited with their 2nd vocalist (making him technically the 4th vocalist change overall) and have put out 3 albums with him already in quick fashion. 2016, 2018, and 2020. Basically it was Albums #1 and #2 with first vocalist David Wayne, Albums #3 thru #5 with Mike Howe, then for Album #6, David Wayne came back, but died shortly after that I think. Then for albums #7 thru #10, Ronny Munroe was the vocalist. And now Albums #11 thru #13 have Mike Howe back with them. Metal Church, by today's standards, can be classified as traditional metal with perhaps some speed metal influence. But back in the 80s when they first came out, us metalheads kinda just lumped them into the thrash metal genre. Metal, as we know it, was so new back then there wasn't nearly as many genres as there is now. There was basically Hair Metal, NWOBHM, Thrash Metal, and the very beginnings of Death Metal.
Ah, happy someone appreciated this album at last. my fav song off this album (well, pretty much love the whole album) is "Burial at Sea", beautifully written song...
The vocalist David Wayne went on to form Reverend (the world won't miss you) and others and also he did a solo album called Wayne - Metal Church before he died, some of the best stuff I've ever heard and the band before that I mentioned (Reverend).
I saw metal Church supporting Anthrax in London many years ago - and it was primarily Metal Church who I wanted to see. Try the opening two tracks from their first album ('Beyond the Black' and 'Metal Church'), but do them both together in one sitting as they run from one into the other so well.
I've only ever seen this band live once, October 31, 1986 opening for Metallica on their Master Of Puppets tour. I was 16 and it was the first time I tried acid, what a trippy night!
I am glad to hear that she enjoy the sensitive song from Metal Church. I want to suggest "Start The Fire", by Metal Church. I would like to see her reaction from that song.
Ok, so I stand corrected.😊. Metal Church originally formed in San Francisco in 1980 and relocated to Aberdeen, Washington the following year and briefly using the name Shrapnel. So I’m guessing that they changed the name to Metal Church after they moved to Aberdeen. 😊
I was 17 when the self-titled Metal Church came out and it was like gospel then, The Dark was just as good if not better. After that and after Wayne left they were nothing in comparison.
Hello K&J , sorry to keep on about this but how about Japanese female punk band Otoboke Beaver, all their songs are about 2min 30sec, "Don't light my fire" "Love is short". Greetings from an English Band Maid fan.
I love Metal Church!!! Such an underrated band. Try Metal Church-Gods of Wrath
finally someone react to this masterpiece !!!
Good all around. The drumming is quite lit .

The video is incredible. When the guns start firing and that epic pre-chorus sinister riff kicks in I get the chills.
One of the most well-crafted songs by anyone, ever.
You said that right!!!!

One of their best early songs.. Pretty dark too..:-)

It’s a great album
Razor - Evil Invaders is a great old school tune to unleash on the young lady.

Oh yeah, Metal Church! Great reaction, thanks!
This song was on the radio back in the day
Patiently waiting for your next Jinjer reaction. 🤔👍😁

Here's a few suggestions for band reactions. Fifth Angel, Riot, Warrior, Crimson Glory, Pink Cream 69, Grim Reaper.
Thank you! I love this song!
One of their best songs, a classic!

They are still together
RIP David and Mike.
Great song, hope you can do more of MC. Date with Poverty is a good one too. Thanks guys!

great reaction, loved it..
It’s sounds very close to a Pantera song.
You mean Pantera sounds very close to Metal Church?
Metal Church was before Pantera
Pantera at the time of this song was a glam metal band with Terry Glaze on vocals.
React to Battle Angels by Sanctuary.
From Seattle, not CA.
METAL CHURCH songs BURIAL AT SEA, LINE OF DEATH
