    Hi
My name is Jurek I'm from Poland, good job YT.
He has a Sony TC-229 tape recorder (the same mechanism as shown in the TC K7 II video).
The tape recorder turns off after 3-4 seconds (play, backward, forward, it doesn't matter).
What could be the reason for this failure.
    Help me please.
    Best regards, Jurek

    Hi,
For me, the recordings are weaker on the right channel when playing the cassette.
Can I set this somewhere, can you help?
    Thanks!!!

First of all, it is necessary to have a cassette with a guaranteed good recording, the playback level is set with the trimmers VR101 on L-CH and VR102 on R-CH. But be careful! It could also be incorrectly set indicator trimmers.

      @@electronicgadgeteering Thanks for your help.👌
Cassettes from other decks and good recordings play perfectly. Only in recordings that I made with the TC-K7BII is the right channel significantly weaker when played back.
Cleaning the heads brought little improvement.
Can I adjust this somewhere using a potentiometer?
Contact problems due to longer downtime?
      I have a manual.
      greetings
      Andrew

@@andreasb.3321 There is a play/record switch on the big circuit board, "S2" spray some cleaner into the switch, it may be necessary to flip out the circuit board. And only then you can set the trimmers. My previous answer was incorrect. It should be correct: The playback level is set with the trimmers VR101 on L-CH and VR201 on R-CH.
Recording trimmers are VR102 on L-CH and 202 on R-CH.
