I have a Sony TC-K5 that I got a little while ago. I bought one new in '78, and it is a high quality deck. I also had a Sony STR-V3 that I replaced with a STR-V4. I haven't used either as they both need work. I would record my popular records on it to save wear and tear, and I used Maxell XL IIs on it.
It is funny that it does not have much of the opamps or ICs inside but still can do great recording !
@24:55 is probably a DIN connector pad for outside US market.
Yes! Thank you, highly likely
Был у меня такой аппарат, работал великолепно!👍
Yes it looks and works nice, i prefer this one to Pioneer CT F500
@@InsideOutElectronics согласен, этот аппарат лучше. Давно продал, сейчас жалею, хотя в коллекции, много подобных аппаратов!)
The issue with playback is probably the rubber tire on the take up reel. I have the same issue on my TC-K2. Need to find / make a replacement. Not easy.
Thank you. Let me check but during first quick look I have not see anything like that.
Those characters are marking the color of the cable that be should be connected to it.
