Probably one of the worst background checks companies. Showed false information for 2 of my background checks costing me the job. Sued them twice now and have won. Employers, choose better!

Terrible experience, they showed a false address for my background check.
I know it wasn't my fault because the first document generated from their end has the correct address on it.
For the final document check that is needed for verification at canada post.
Somehow my address changed by just one number.
My whole process ruined and i have to redo everything again
I'm dealing with this company now. After filling out employment history and all the other info I am now receiving emails asking about previous DOT employers for the last 3 years which I dont have any and this wouldnt be a problem but the form they send in your email saying it's an electronic form is now interactive you cannot click it and enter information into it. I had to call and spoke to someone who had a very thick accent and I could not understand them. This is important stuff happening here we should be able to understand one another. I was told to go ask someone for help around me and I was dumbfounded because I called yall's help line for help. Guys get it together this is important stuff. Businesses need workers workers need businesses and if yall are more of a road block than a benefit the businesses should seek help in background checks elsewhere.
Just received a phone call from an unknown number asking me personal financial information that wouldn’t normally be part of a background check after agreeing to a background check by Stering. This is unethical behavior on their part. Their integrity is questionable now.
How do I get to it trying to do a background check McCleary owes and having trouble getting to the questionnaire how do I get
Sterling support contact numbers not working, sterling not maintaining transferring, sterling giving bvg works to the 3rd, 4th party and that party not doing work with authenticity and this people not sharing their own identity proofs , worst sterling experience.
Meh/ best thing I did was put a credit hold/lock on myself; I thought there was suspicious activity so it's free for a year and then a few bugs for longer if you want/need

Applied for a job. Sterling ran my background and found out I had Court cases and “Sex Offender” charge or some bs. When I clearly never been arrested or done anything harmful. I am scared because they are going to ruin my chances of getting hired .

They are also running background check on me and I'm overthinking coz I got an email that they are forwarding the result to my company but then they emailed me again asking for more information. So nervous.😅
@@pacodelapena9136 They would be fortunate to have you as an employee. Especially if you may be fluent in more than one language!! You got this!! I would suggest that if they are pressuring you...just say well I have other offers and i want to respect you so I will let you know.
Heck, I have even said this to employers when I have Nothing but an RN and nothing but English/American language skills.
Know your worth and I completely respect all you have to offer; your future employer should as well.

The worst background check company I have encountered. Going on almost a month for background check when I am clean and only worked for a federal job my last 11 years.
Worst company ever. It's been a month and went to a different company and only took 2 days for a background
