It's an absolute joke. If you don't have a passport they basically can't help you. People are at risk of losing their offer of employment as they don't let you show your birth certificate and proof of national insurance number, which legally is all you need.
Sterling asking 41 pound for background check on uber eats why?
I also have been charged the same money where others haven't been a penny.
It used to be free now I have to pay £41.33
My report came back saying sterling is unable to complete the Criminal Disclosure order as digital identity has not been verified

Hi I've just recently had my background check from Stuart delivery Ltd in sterling. Considering I'm a British citizen. It's telling me that I'm going to need right to work verification for Global screening but the truth is I'm a British citizen so because of that at my passport driver's licence and birth certificate is proof of right to work verifications by default I was never given a right to work verification document because I'm not an immigrant or an international resident but for some reason it's seen in my complete report - "consider." this is BS!

Was ready to crack on and do my check on Sterling to get on with it and start earning money with Uber Eats. Was immediately greeted with ''Oops, something went wrong. Ring this number''. Who's got time to sit about talking to customer services, FIX YOUR APP! I'm a UK citizen - worked and payed taxes all my life not had to go through this broken process before now!

The way they have done this is absolutely shocking the web sites glitchy it tells you to upload passport even when you say you dont have one born and bread here but need to prove my right to work in the UK even with a birth certificate completely stupid service
