Doom guy is Ash’s daddy so when you hear Ash ask, “Who’s your daddy?” You now know. Or maybe it’s the other way around?

Other way for sure. Ash would probably be very dead by the time Doom begins

It would be awesome if they make Ash(Bruce Campbell) an ancestor of the Doom Slayer/Doom Guy no 🧢

If they got Arnie to be the doomguy for a movie, this is probably how they would’ve characterized him as

That was definitely weird. I love how in the middle of his slaughter the guy gives the audience an environmentalist message🤣 (although, it doesn’t really work since the toxic waste is on Mars where there’s not an environment, and the radiation is already a problem since the planet lacks a magnetic field. Unless you’re going to terraform the place, or if there’s life there then using it as a dumping ground doesn’t matter). It’s funny how Doom Eternal referenced this comic😂
I’ve heard there’s Doom books. But, apparently they’re mediocre at best, and absolutely atrocious at worst (a better Doom book would be an adaptation of Doom 3’s original story. Forgot the channel name, but this other guy made a video on it). I’ve also heard that for the Doom movie with The Rock there’s only a few parts actually worth watching, and that it’s mostly just boring. As for the most recent one, I’ve heard it sucks as well. It’s really funny how most of the external Doom media is really bad.
Unrelated, but if you want a really cool game with some crazy deep lore check out Star Control 2. It’s this really cool old rpg where you fly around space and interact with all these really weird aliens. There’s this open source version of the game called Ur Quan Masters, and if you search Free Stars into Steam you can get it for free and wishlist the sequel. I first learned about the game back in middle school from a Yogscast video. It looked really interesting. I recently got it, and haven’t gotten very far into the game. It’s kind of clunky at times, but really interesting. Unfortunately, there’s no quest log, and you literally have to write down a lot of the information given to you. I’m sure there’s a mod that fixes this. It’s super interesting. Since the open source version is free it only costs you time. The writing is super interesting.

Something I forgot to mention is the original creators sadly don’t have the writes to the name Star Control, but they own all the characters, species, and other things. There’s this game called Star Control Origins that’s basically a reboot/spiritual successor since they just have the name with new species, and the gameplay is heavily based on Star Control (haven’t played it so I can’t speak on it). The open source version is names Free Stars The Ur Quan Masters, and the upcoming sequel is Free Stars Children of Infinity (Free Stars is the name of this in universe alliance between species). The original Star Control is literally just the space combat, and all the story is in the manual, so it’s not even worth playing. There’s a third entry, but from what I’ve heard it’s been rejected by a good chunk of the fans because the original creators didn’t make it, and said creators are making their own sequel.
The crazy thing about the game is that it’s VERY influential. It’s inspired Fallout, Mass Effect, and numerous other RPGs. It’s pretty crazy what kind of legacy that game has.
