- This is a review of one of the holy grails in Star Wars prop collecting. The Master Replicas Signature Edition Luke Skywalker Lightsaber taht was signed by Mark Hamill. Only 750 of these lightsabers were made and it is one of the most iconic Star Wars props out there!

I have all of the Master Replicas sabers, including the Luke ANH EE and the AFBB Obi wan, the only one I do not have is the ROTJ V2 stunt version which was right at the very end of Master Replicas license.
My favorites are the Luke ESB Signature edition and the Darth Maul battle damaged versions :)
All-time classic hilt. I have the ICONS version of it from the 90s. Still in mint condition.

How is master replica gonna make changes to the OG prop? Im from rochester NY and that pommel stamp is why i want the luke ep 4 or 5. That 1 stamp is why i want his saber next to for my OT saber collection
What do they challenge in now
I have both ANH signature versions, the Empire Signature version and the very first RotJ version from 2002, all still factory sealed in their shippers.

Most recent eBay sale with case,mirror base, both plaques, and all paperwork including insert of Hamill picture went for 2200. After fees it’s close to 2000 take home. No brown shipper or original packaging but you can get it for significantly less than 4k currently.
One just sold at auction on Saturday with nothing but the saber and base for $3000 + 21% hammer fee + taxes. I’m just basing the price off a fully complete saber including the brown shipper. But $2200 was a great deal for who ever picked that up!
@@StarWarsReplicas that was an Artist Proof from personal collection of Bryan Ono though. But I agree a complete and mint in box Signature Edition with both plaques and the insert of Mark signing it is probably worth at least 3k.
@@dfchang813 yeah but artist proofs don’t increase the value, neither would being from Bryan’s collection. Fact of the matter is that someone paid around $3500 for a naked SE lol. I sold my EE Obi for about 4K a few months ago so people are definitely buying them for crazy amounts. I paid $600 for mine about 12 years ago so it’s insane seeing what people are spending these days

Hi, can signature wipe off from plaque? I'm gonna buy 2 plaques for Giancarlo Esposito and Katee Sackhoff signs, and I'm worried about it. May the force be with You!!
If it’s signed with permanent marker which it should be then NO it won’t come off unless you abuse it. Master Replica signature plaques are over 20 years old and even when the rest of the plaque looks like shit that signature is still there and intact.

I just purchased a Master Replicas Luke Skywalker A New Hope Signature Edition with everything complete including the brown box for 3500. The value of these will just go up in the coming years. I won't be selling mine for sure.

$4000 for a graflex is just absurd. Speculation is the worst part of this hobby unfortunately.
Not even a real Graflex. I bought mine for $600 10 years ago. But people are spending crazy amounts on these. Just like the psychos that spend thousands on old Pokémon cards lol
