  • Hey Guys!
I hope you all are doing well! I know the videos have been somewhat sporadic lately...but life has been just as sporadic! It's taken me forever to sort through all of the footage from out California trip to my parents house. But I'd be lying to you all if I said I wasn't excited for these project videos to finally be done ;).
I hope you all enjoy this video! Even though it's not a tutorial, you guys always seem to like it when I post fail videos... though this one is a different kind of fail to my previous ones, it still eats at my soul that I can't just fix the dang thing! It's just you know... a mere over 3000 miles away. meh :p
I hope you all have amazing weeks and I'll see you next week for the long awaited house tour video!
    Laters!
    Breaha
(P.S. - Shout out to my friend the white fluffy-fuzz-lint that decided to make their youtube debut on my head for the entirety of this video. His name is Henry XD)

Can’t wait to see a final before and after of your parents kitchen! They are lucky to have all your help. I’m sure they are loving the transformation!

I used that on my countertops also. It's been on there for about 3 years and has held up surprisingly well, but I don't have kids at home anymore.

Sharon Bovee does it stain easily?😬

    • @sharonbovee6584

@@KDawnn not really easily. You do have to watch out for things like blueberries, beets, etc. You do have to use hot pads, it will leave burn marks if you don't.

Oh I am laughing/crying with you....I can’t tell you how many times I just have to “touch” it ....my husband says leave it alone...now don’t touch it and I see a small hair or something that could easily be fixed when dry and he leaves the room ...and I “touch” it...creating an issue much more difficult to fix! I feel your pain😱 ...once I had a paint brush hair on a small sign I was doing for a customer and I put the smallest dab of mineral spirits on my finger to remove the paint brush hair and it ate a hole in it like 2cm x 1 cm I wanted to kick my own butt...very difficult to fix but I’m nothing if not persistent ...I fixed it but it took forever! Lol 🙈
*your countertop came out beautiful....be proud....congratulations!😊

LOL I NEED to be your new BFF. Attempting to do my first chalk painting. I am going to make my own using the plaster of Paris. Annie Sloan I am sure is wonderful but out of my $$$ range. You have so inspired me. I bought love seat and recliner combo for $50.00. They both are s smooth brown kind of like ultra suede but really smooth. Maybe worn down. I do not know I thought they were leather at first but for sure not. Biggest problem is 5 kitties in the house three of those are kittens!!! Two dogs and both love seat and chair are smaller dogs favorite sleeping places. So some how I will over come all of this. I also have wood furniture I want to paint.
I listen to videos and it says wait 24 hours between coats of paint? I have used Latex paint only in semi gloss and it dried faster than that. Then some say chalk paint dries really fast.??
I am a total DIY kind of gal. Been stalking your videos for over a week now every night. Love your energy and your style. Being I am an old lady I am more into color than you but I do hope to lighten things up and maybe starting off with white for couch and chair. They are brown so challenge I know. Much of the goofy stuff I do inside and out to my home and garden. A big mish mash of photos all mixed together. Link is safe. I am one of those crazy artists. LOL Some day people will come to see my house of mosaics. www.flickr.com/photos/50185661@N03/ OK Thanks so much off to go hang a garden gate.

I always try to link the products I used in the description of the video :). I don’t have a dedicated home station right now (I kinda just work all over the house 😂) I hope one day I’ll have one! I do have a house tour coming out next week, though!

it's kinda funny how many 'panning down' shots you got of the one little counter XD

I was so rushed for time! I didn’t get really good final shots! The struggle to work with the what I had was real! 😂
