nothing better than new generation john deeres some of the toughest hardest pulling tractors ever. these tractors are what made john deeres reputation so good. i have an 820 it has never had a serious problem and does more than it is rated for in every way!

It's rare to see a field look that good with so many different tractors plowing together. They usually aren't adjusted that well. These guys are obviously farmers, not just someone that brought his tractor and plow to a tractor show plow day. Nice video

Yes, this was serious plowing. It had been in seed corn and the owner wanted it plowed 8-9 inches deep to turn the corn left behind under. It was just a side benefit we all had a lot of fun.

Maybe it is more of a regional thing but I'd have liked to see them with a dual on the left side. I always liked that look as a kid.

I always loved plowing with the 4520.

These guys are lucky. These days is almost impossible to find a 4020 or a 4320 that isn't completely worn out with the hours completely off the chart. Now you are starting to see the same thing with 4440"s

There are still a lot of parts around here... Most of these have been rebuilt, upgraded and tuned to more power than original...

I always figured that the 4020 was probably the best tractor ever built

It looks like a John Deere 3020. This is the first time I have ever seen this video. The same little tractor caught my eye. I grew up working on a dairy farm with my stepfather and family. When he passed, my stepbrother sold a tractor his father loved, I was worried that the 3020 would be next because it was the oldest and least powerful tractor on the farm. I begged my stepbrother to give me a heads up if he was going to sell it. He said "No, I'm not going to get rid of that tractor, and you're the 6th person to randomly ask me that. Damn! Everyone loves that thing!!!"
