im new to football itd be nice to have a video explaining how the draft works and how trading up and down works too. i could watch someone elses vid but i like watching you guys lol
The draft is just calling dibs on college players who entered to be part of the draft
Trade back grab wr/center...or center/wr....depending on whose there.....hopefully grab Rosengarten in the 3rd
Knowing Pittsburgh they dont give a f#ck if their pick is too high or low, they take the guy they like, just take a look of their last drafts najee was a RB and everybody was saying it wasnt worth it but they drfted him, so i can see the steelers taking JPJ or Frazier or Burton in 20 if they really 5hink he is the guy
Man, im curious. In your opinion, does jpj have Tyler linderbaum potential? Because he was unanimously the top center in that draft when the ravens drafted him in the first?
Im all for trading back...youll get 2 legit starters that way and shouod be able to fill all your needs
Y’all assuming these teams gonna want to give up a second round pick just to move up a little.
For me, if all the tackles are gone at 20, take powers Johnson if available. If he were to be gone also, I’d try to trade back for more picks
Copper Dejean, Zach Fraiser, and Ricky Pearsall
If Brian Thomas Jr is there at 20...may have to grab him n stay at 20 !!
He's the only wide receiver I'd take in the first since the big 3 will most definitely be gone
Nick Martins Voice Is Familiar, Does He Do A Steelers RUclips Channel?🤔
I like trading back to 27 or 28 as long as we can get Burton or Jpj at 27 or 28. Would love Xavier Lagette in rd 2 and Max Melton woth extra pic
JPJ/ OR Burton rd 1
Legette
Melton
Would be my rd 1 and 2 pics
Ive gotten all 3 at rds 2 and oyr 3rd picks in mocks obviously it wont happen but jpj and legette falling for some reason same with milton a little. But i like barton a little more than jpj
Trade back with Green Bay, pick up another 2nd round pick, and draft Adonai Mitchell. Get center and tackle in the 2nd round.
Cowboys to 24 n another earlier pick looks Sweeter !! 😎 but stay at 20 if top receiver falls !!
Green bay wont ive done to many mocks trying to get their 2nds and its always denied. Unless cooper dejean or mims falls to 20 green bay i dont see giving a 2nd tom grossi put out his top 5 1st rd wants and theyre almost parallel to ours so idk if that would be smart just saying i agree with trading with cowboys but WR aint the pick our front office builds trenches first. They wont draft skill positions in the 1st unless they got 2 1st rd picks
I like that idea...and then trade up in 2nd for Jpj or Frazier if u have too with on of your 3rds or your 4th
JPJ... hip and concussion injuries sounds iffy
Amarius not armarius
Trade back to late 1 - pickup another day2 pick - take top 3 center, select WR in rd2 …
Im cool with this..
Jpj/Frazier then..
Leggette/Pearsall/ AD Mitchell who most likely won't be there
If brian thomas jr is available at 20 u take that hands down we missed out on DK let's not on thomas jr 😤
I Agree 1000% 😎
Better shore up that OL then go from there...
People always speak like the cupboard is bare. They have players from last years draft. There are cuts that come at the end of the season. Veterans that will be released. And trades. People get too HYPED at the draft. Just think 4 draft years ago. There are players that are NOT on the team that fans coveted.
Slow news day I see.
I’d rather listen to draft bs then we getting Brandon ayiuk for multiple videos when I see that as a 1% chance. Tf we trading for an expensive WR when Steelers are known to be best wr drafting team and this is historically a great wr draft. Like bruh what.
Did your Mom not have your Breakfast ready for you this morning???
Trade:
Brandon Ayuk
Steelers and 49er switch 1st round draft positions: 49ers #20 Steelers #31. The Steelers get the 49ers 4th round #132 Compensatory pick. And the 49ers get a 3rd in 2025.
What are you smoking, dude? Most fans should just stick to just watching the game.
@hectorrivera2141 Are you referring to me ? Or the gentleman with the pod?
@hectorrivera2141 Because if me, Gary Dulac beat writer for the Steelers, proposed something similar to mine about 2 days after me commenting on a similar pod cast (do your own research). Gary Dulac wanted to give a second pick in 2025. Mine was a third. And to your last point; I played high school and college football (Division II). Respectfully
I’m telling you now if you trade back below Dallas at #24 JPJ is a Cowboy so if you want him take him
You know what gentleman, you can try your best to try to get more picks if you want to, but teams are in the business of winning and they are trying their very best to defeat you. Yes, teams do give up picks and all of that and we get it, but you act as if those teams are going to do what they can to help your team and not think of their own team needs.
And even if you do get more picks, that does not mean those extra picks are going to really help your team in the long run. There are many can't miss players that you hear about year in and year out and they just do not even make the roster.
But year after year all of you get paid (if you are lucky) to do nothing but give an opinion or guess, just like a weatherman or girl.
Sometimes your guess works out, but more often than not they do not.
So, you get on these podcasts, etc., and yack, yack, yack and in the final analysis, you are no better at guessing than many of us. So please spare us the expert analysis of what you think. We have heard it all before.
