This is why Media should not be allowed in week one otas. Local media have local biases and it shows up in the analysis. It's week 1 in a brand new system that itself is still developing. Wait until week 3 then have an opinion.

You’re the only person on the internet saying it’s 50/50 with the QB’s. They say Fields looks great when he runs around but he isn’t a pocket passer… kinda like another QB in the north

With you guys saying Wilson looks average or "bland", makes me think he is looking like a real NFL QB, further lets me know too, that he is going to be all right!. You guys said Kenny Pickett look like he was going to tear the NFL up last season after looking good against third stringers in preseason football 🙄. You sure you guys know football?

I would love another big-bodied WR for our #2. Having Austin/Wilson in the slot would be elite if they are ready and able. At the end of the day, I just want our offense to be able to score at least 21 points a game (not counting defensive TDs).
Foot work and relationship with the QBs are the only thing I really pay attention to in OTA because like y'all said they are in shorts and no real pressing from the Def

Calvin Austin and Roman Wilson have enough potential to be a decent number two. Chris Sims is very high on him. I will start doing my research once the pre season starts.
You're the only Steelers RUclipsr that is saying the QB competition is 50/50 everyone else is saying Russ looks like the clear cut starter. What are you watching that they aren't? They are also at OTAs everyday
They literally didn't say that at all. Lol they said their PERFORMANCE was 50/50. Lol. Russ is the starter because Tomlin said that he will be the Starter. Lol. They didn't say Fields has a 50% chance to start.. they said they've been performing at about 50/50... good lord, it shouldn't be this difficult to see what they're saying..
What you say is true, but every observer who has entertained the prospect of Fields overtaking Russ has noticed Russ’s passes…better zip, better touch, and better accuracy. He has better footwork.
He’s in phenomenal shape and looks quick. Feods can’t win here because Russ in the end has experience on top of being a better passer and still quite athletic himself.
Furthermore, Russ is playing for his legacy. Fields is playing for the 💰
Russ is at his best under pressure, and only a couple of other QBs in the league are anywhere near as clutch, and neither one is named Mahomes or Rodgers. Purdy, Burrow, and Stroud are the only QBs who can come close to matching Russ’s ability to respond under pressure. Thats why Nick Wright and so scared of Russ.
His biggest nightmare is for Russ and Mahomes to meet in a tightly-contested AFC Championship game and have Russ on the field with 90 seconds left in the game with the Chiefs only a point ahead.

Pittsburgh has a bunch of fast WR Q. Watson, C Austin, Roman Wilson. They are going to make a lot of CB look slow. Hopefully they can catch the ball
Darius Rush looked really good at South Carolina just overlooked because Cam Smith got all the attention in the draft
I think they should look to sign Jennings’s from San Fran to be our number 2
If Steelers are still concerned about a Wide Receiver 2 why not try and get DeAndre Hopkins as a 2, may be able to get him cheap and he's still pretty good and probably available, Tennessee signed Ridley, and Boyd so he's a number 3 Wide out on team now and a veteran and would be great for the younger guys.

Im sorry if ur not happy with van Jefferson and Scotty Miller I highly doubt juwaun Jennings is the answer 😂 I think if what your saying about Roman is true which I don’t think it is the best option to me is Courtland Sutton
Jennings is a better player than those guys. He doesn't drop passes and is one of the best blocking wr's in the league. That's why the niners drafted a wr but still want him there. That being said, he's nowhere near an elite player, just a nice piece. I'm not sure I'd call jefferson or miller a nice piece.
Any consideration to cut Holcomb needs to be dismissed. He’s a solid player
The QB competition isn’t even close, and people who want the best for the Steelers should be rooting for the best WB to be the QB. Fields isn’t the best QB. I’m not even sure he’s as good as Kyle Allen! He’s a better athlete either way great upside, but can he pass as well as Allen? Idk.
What Happened With Kwon Alexander we skipping over him 🤷🏾♂️
He is a UFA and currently is not on the roster. After his second Achilles surgery I would move on. The reason Holcomb and Alexander were available was because of their injury history. I think both have played their last down as Steelers.
It’s very early and no pads and you guys are panicking. Give the dbs some time and if nobody works out at slot pick up Gilmore or Howard for one year and put Jackson in the slot. Another thing please quit talking about Cam Sutton who is only an average one dimensional cornerback. He was terrible on the outside with the lions and I think he would be average in the slot for the Steelers.

I know it won't happen but I also would love them to at least talk to Howard and Simmons if you brought in 1 or both of the guys we could go from a 10 defense to maybe the best in football
Russ is just warming up. Wait until training camp. People bought into all the garbage about Russ being washed. He never was washed, he was just playing for a sh!tty organization either bad coaches and a bad roster. He should’ve gone to Pittsburgh straight from Seattle. If he had, people wouldn’t be questioning him right now. I said in 2022 that Russ should go to Pittsburgh.

Russell Wilson has NEVER thrown for less than 3000 in a season... ever.
Justin fields BEST year in touchdown passes, is 17.
Russell Wilson WORST year in Touchdown passes is 16 (not last year btw) and he still threw for 1k more yards than one of Justin's best years.
