    Just finished making my poncho but I used “the wrong side” as the front instead because I actually liked the “stripes” that were on the “backside” instead of the “front side” pattern, especially of the two different colors I used since I couldn’t find the right kind of yarn to use and had to use two strands of yarn as one but chose to use two colors. But hey, it’s my poncho, I can do what I want with it LOL

    I loved this stitch pattern SO MUCH I’m even using it to make a shawl for myself. I saw your video for the pocket shawl and I decided to use this stitch for the shawl instead.

    • @darleneharmon4638

      That is correct. You pull the two loops over the top loop. You will always have two loops going forward.

    I’m assuming that you can use a longer loom to get a longer affect in the bag so that it’s much longer because this one for me is quite short and would fit my granddaughter

    • @Tuteate
      @Tuteate  3 года назад +2

      Hi Alisa! Yes, you can use a longer loom, and yes, that will give you a "longer back" :) If your loom is not big enough, you could also try to knit "stripes", one added to the other one. Maybe this other tutorial would help you on that: ruclips.net/video/68g1QWLIHeo/видео.html

    I.ve finished this project and honestly im a little down heartened! As its more like a childs poncho than an adults, is there a way to make it larger? Could using a bigger loom help and maybe adding extra rounds? I love the finished item its just not big enough even for a shoulder warmer its to small. Thank.you

    • @michimelody4036
      @michimelody4036 Год назад

      You could use a bigger loom and make sure they are spaced out the same as hers. She didn't mention the spacing of her loom and there are different ones. I'd say try a bigger loom and measure your body around to make sure you're making it the right length. Loom size will change width and you control the length.

    I am in the process of making this wonderful project. However I didn’t count rows for some reason and was wondering what the finished length should be. In the video it states 1 m/ 1 yard but 1 meter is not exactly equivalent to one yard. I basically would like to know how long in inches?

    I would like to make this on a smaller gauge loom with thinner yarn. I adore this pattern and after quitting looming 2 years ago, this is something I want to make. Do I just use an odd number of pegs and estimate how many based on the width?

      If the end pegs on your loom are the same distance from the side pegs as the side pegs are from each other, you can use a flat loom like a circular loom, or use both sides to make a wider knitted fabric.

      If your straight loom has end pegs the same distance from the side pegs as the side pegs are from each other, you can use both sides for a wider flat piece, or can use the flat loom like a circular loom. IF the end pegs are the proper distance from the other pegs.
