Great analysis, I didn't notice Dupont's pressure and placement on what leads to the french try...the french press said Dupont had a poor game...they should watch again!!!
Dupont had made some bad kicks. With the ball in the hands, it was very correct but he has missed some kicks, so french are note satisfaited by his global game
Very interesting analysis, no commentator noticed Dupont's pressure on the kicker, they rather lament his averall porr performance. Your analysis really enlightened my understanding of this superb try, until then it was only Penaud's performance and Jalabert's pass which were highlighted. Bravo
Thanks for your detailled analysis you are doing a great job, impressive to resume such a game and the structure of the French attack in only 3 min (and you do it so well)!
Ironically enough, this is exactly the way the Ozzies used to play in the mid 80. I remembered using this diamond position in provincial and national selection camps...after watching the Australian playing.
Beautiful analysis. As a French man, since the end of the game, replay after replay of the action on Penaud's try, I'm amways scared Jaco Peyper is gonna see and whistled the 40 inches forward pass by Jalibert. 🥵
Definitely France's worst game this year, partly because France had to shake the rust off playing a well rounded Australia team, but also because the Aussies were up for the challenge, so kuddos to Aus for the great defence and commitment. Hopefully France will be able to correct all their mistakes this week, before they meet South-Africa. Other thing, France lacked physicality in Second Rows. Woky is more a flanker and is a bit too light for 2nd row at that level. If he plays this weekend, he will suffer vs SA.
It will be interesting to see if they were building depth in that position or they want athletic Woky vs Wallabies. As you say, SA provide a different challenge!
@@ContactCoach I'm commenting after the game and I have to admit that I was wrong. Woky was up for the fight and held his ground in scrums too. He probably played his best game ever as a lock. Now the question. Can he repeat it against less physical and demanding teams, I mean without being 100%? To your point, France is also looking to build depth in that position. Woky's replacement on Saturday (Sunday morning for me, I'm in Australia) was a 30 yo player with 0 cap.
Thanks, that's brillant work as per usual. I found Dupont had a poor game offensively (because defensively he is always has an impact like on the French 1st try) but he is obviously too smart for my rugby IQ, I didn't notice its impact on Penaud's try. Anyway, I found France a little bit out of shape, their execution was sloppy, maybe because they hadn't play together for 7 months since they sent a B team in Japan or / and because Australia had a brillant game disrupting their tactics. What do you think ? Anyway, thanks a gain for the enlightenment.
I missed a good chunk but I think wallabies were just very good, however France have now begun to win games in moments and that’s all they need to beat other teams. I think a grand slam is on the cards for them (although they’re coming to Dublin and thatll be tough for them)
It's still early in the International window for the Northern teams. expect them to get better. We're in for a very special 6 nations along side these November tests!
Aussies defeated themselves. Decision making in the last minutes was terrible, eg. attempted kick from Valentini? He just needed to do HIS job. Credit to France to stay in game, but damn it Wallabies - learn to play that last 10 minutes!
The main reason France won is that Australian Rugby is a joke. The Wallabies can always be relied upon to find a new way to lose when it gets down to the clinch. Reference against France, NZ and Italy 2022. Hopeless.

Dupont also leads to Marchand try with enormous pressure. He had his worst game for France but still is better than most !
That shows you the really high standards he has. Big players in big moments!
I totally agree! So influential!

@@guillaumefourtaux4544 Both Ntamack and him had a bad day with the kicking game...rare that it happens to both of them at the same time!
excellent clips and analysis and pure brilliance from Penaud !
Thanks for taking a look. Such a great try!

Hey Frank! Thanks for sharing. I'm glad you enjoyed the video.

Thank you! There is a lot going on so my job as a coach is to try and break it down into more manageable sections.
Great analysis. Would love to also see a breakdown of how Black Ferns beat the Red Roses in the women's World Cup final.

@Frederick Sandelia C'est clair, j'ai pas oublié sa prestation en 2019
Thanks for taking a look! The try is in the books now!
Love this, short and to the point, no stupid jokes or political points. Penaud is so damn good!
Thanks for watching!
Wow great analysis coach

Penaud is the best love him! Nice one Jalibert, allez les bleus !!! 🇨🇵🇨🇵🇨🇵
Penaud is wonderful. Always there for the big moments. Jalibert is great too, such an attacking threat. He has been doing that pass for years!
Merci
Top !

The french flair in magnificent action 👏🐓🇫🇷
Flair and a bit of structure!

@Frederick Sandelia C'est incroyable que ce soit les français qui dévalorise l'équipe alors que les autres nations nous félicite de ce beau jeu
hi coach, not the best game for france, assies are on the way ,a really good team, s.a vs france i cant wait... allez les bleus!
