Ikr? We need more of this game.
@@alalalala57 i love this game, but i think we don't need too much realism in our game.. just one or two this kind of games is enough..
@J. B. Some tank game went as realistic as to have some tanks just stop working before the battle but decided it would go a bit too far. Definitely agree with your point
@J. B. Yeah Realism when it was Used to Enhance the Gameplay was a Good Realism, as much as i Love Story in Death Stranding, Both The Gameplay and The Realism takes away the fun from that Game.
And this is what makes Kingdom Comes Great because really, it was Supposed to be a Faithful Recreation of the Medieval-Ages, and Thus the Realism further Improving it.

Can we get HEMA instructors reacting to For Honor?
yesss
That would be awesome!
They'd make fun of it
Armor in For Honor is pretty much non-existent, if you get a hit blood splashes, almost like they have no armor on.
All heavy attacks in For Honor are extremely telegraphed attacks that absolutely no one would make cuz you'd just get thrusted
Though, there are moves in for honor that are historically accurate like Warden's Crushing Counter, I have a feeling that a HEMA practitioner would just laugh at how they fight in For Honor because it's not at all an accurate representation of historical sword fighting
Shoot Me I would love to see their takes on For Honor’s historical accuracies and inaccuracies
@@MrGhostToast there is a video out there made by a youtuber named "Skallagrim." And he talks about the historical accuracies inaccuracies in For Honor.

Anyone else agree that kingdom come was SOOOOO underrated?
It was one of the most hyped games during the year it came out. It suffered a steep decline in popularity due to the bugs at launch, and the extraordinarily high system requirements to run the game. I have a 7700k, 1080ti, 16gb of memory with the game installed on an SSD and I still struggle to stay above 60fps in towns. Imagine what people are getting with midrange pc's.
It got a bad rap due to the "woke" crowd complaining there were no female warriors or persons of color.
In Bohemia.
In the 15th century.
@@NikoBased not most hyped it was hyped by the hardcore gamers but the normal group
@@lorddiethorn Well I'm not a hardcore gamer and I found it. Imagine that. It sold a lot of copies. Warhorse did very well for themselves.
@@NikoBased I think it's pretty underrated since it was produced by rather unknown studio and released with very little advertising. The first time I even heard of it was when it was advertised as on sell in the PlayStation store and I did some research on the game and decided it was worth a shot since there was so many customization options and branching storylines depending on your actions and it was half off with all dlcs included. From what I understand it only got big sells after it was released for awhile through word of mouth from players who enjoyed the game. The people I've spoken to about the game either randomly stumbled upon it like i did or it was recommended by a friend, so it's safe to say that it's underrated as of now but if sells continue to grow strong we might call it overrated when looking back years later lol
The guys who did the games studied manuals and consulted with people like HEMA. There was a really strong effort to get as much realism into the fun as they could.
The realism is so impressive that there are actually brown streaks under the open toilets in many of the castles. I know it might sound weird, but seeing piles of crap like that was very impressive. Most games, even historical games, don't deal with human waste like that.
We know the shit is real when they have real shit in it.
WAIT! Nobody is calling their BS out, back then it wasn't just called a "sword" it was blade, cutter.. ect..ect they also used proper names.
"If you were a peasant and you were caught hunting the king's deer, what would be a serious offence" - And we all thought that we had a bug in Kingdom Come when we kill animals in the forest and they appear as "stolen item" in the inventory, we literally commited a crime by killing the king's deer.
"He deered to kill the King's dare."
You all thought what? Is poaching a forein concept to you?
@@michalmoravcik4857 It's not a common thing in contemporary medieval settings, nor is it common knowledge to your average person that killing "The King's Deer" was an actual crime.

Half swording
Murder stroke
edi still, all those “stands” aren’t real stands. Or those over the top swings. It’s like csgo compared to real life
@@jackl2257 I can assure you that it's far more than button mashing, as that won't get you anywhere in duels. The overswinging is necessary for gameplay and even KCD does it. KCD was horrible to play with mouse and keyboard (though I did love the game as an RPG). many swordfighting games had much better control-designs. However, even the best would never be good enough to simulate an actual swordfight. Maybe, you could with a VR set, if it tracks your limbs as well.
edi how is it horrible to play? I’m talking about the animations, forms and techniques in the game. You can’t compare a game where block is just putting your sword in front of your face to KCD. You and me both know it’s way more realistic and the developers has put in way more efforts in to making it closer to real combat. I like mordhaul for its large multiplayer battles and weaponry, but it’s really wont make a sense for hema practitioners to react to it, for it’s nothing like what they do.
No wonder they are the same guys who created the Mafia series. One underrated masterpiece after another, if only Warhorse Studios got the attention it deserved. they're talented as hell.
'Homo sapiens' reacting to 'Far cry primal' would've been great
Yeah, we don't fight bears with our bare hand anymore, that's a bit unrealistic. Unless we are talking about russians, but they are barely homo sapiens.
The backswing low down that they were criticizing is a popular technique actually. You would essentially punch downward and flick with your wrist so the back of the blade cuts the back of the thigh. Most people are unarmored there as most of their armor if any was positioned towards the front towards enemy. Its a good way to hamstring an enemy. I learned the technique in the SCA(Society of Creative Anachronisms) a nonprofit company based around medieval reenactments and combatives. Alot of HEMA practisioners are apart of this group
I love this game. I can't wait for Kingdom Come 2

This game was so underrated to a degree where I'm really sad for the devs
But the result was better then devs thought and was a big success overall. They needed at least 500k sells and now it's over 4m. And It gave them what they needed for future games to be better. I am a big fan of Daniel Vávra (main dev) and what he is doing, even thou im not a history guy.

They should also show the meme side of games, like with Siege, instead of like regular clips or competitive ones, they should show stuff like RussianBadger's vids, if they show Arma they show SovietWomble or Rimmy clips, that'll be fun seeing them count the warcrimes being committed.

It's really cool that this game takes into account literally everything they are saying. There are strikes to the hand, blunt weapons are better against heavier enemies, hunting is only legal in your own land or your Lord's land with permission.
There are also piles of human waste in many cities and villages too. Waste is even dealt with in the castles. That really impressed me.

The “its abaout who is behind you” part is so true in the game bandit camp are difficult because you always are overwhelmed by enemies and you have to figure out quickly where is every bandit. Also if you don’t, it means that you collect less bandit ears and you get less money.
Bandits/Cumans start running away only after you kill the leader of the camp, thats why you ALWAYS save the captain for last, otherwise they will all bolt.
@@ExtremeMan10 Actually if you kill the leader first then yes, they will run but after like 2 minutes they all come back to the camp. They might try to run away again but just finish them one by one, wait in the camp for others to return and you don't even have to fight them properly.
This video came up on my recommended about a year or so ago and it spurred me to go and buy KCD. It’s definitely worth the purchase. Sure there are a few bugs/glitches, but the story is phenomenal and I find myself coming back to it over and over like how I did with Skyrim over the years.

I'm curious about that too. Some of the vanilla executions could work very well in a practical environment. Like 20 minutes probably. He’s realistically invincible due to his ridiculous strength, size and armor. Not to mention he has one of the best weapons he could use.
All it would take is a ballista bolt or canon ball to end a lawbringer.
Yes they had canons in the 1400s, infact it was thanks to canons that the Ottomans conquered the Byzantine Empire (1452)
