      I live in San Francisco, but I was born/raised in Los Angeles in 1986. In-N-Out has NEVER gotten my order wrong, and I have NOT ONCE been disappointed in my meal. My best friend in High School worked there, and they not only paid well, she said it was the best job she'd ever had. Moral is always high and she was there for about six years, providing for her family.
      World traveling chef and journalist Anthony Bourdain once called In-N-Out Burger "the only American chain worth a damn" and praised their french fries and shakes, also pointing out that the company "treat their employees like human beings"
      His favorite was the animal style double double, by the way. My almost weekly go-to is the Number 2, mustard fried with grilled onions and if you are feeling extra hungry, get your fries 'animal style'. Or, if you just like the 'secret sauce' and want to dip your fries in it, you can ask for a 'side of spread' with your order.
      I'm so curious, though, seeing as you are from Germany, what is your go-to order when you get In-N-Out? No wrong answers :)

    McDonalds and the other fast food burger shops should take notice of the MEGA success of In-N-Out . The three main reasons In-N-Out is so successful :
    1. Super clean restaurant , there's always someone cleaning tables, windows, floors and restrooms !!
    2. The employees are super friendly, bright and clean cut with no visible tattoos .They all work like a well oiled machine because the company took the time to train them well .(Very important).
    3. The food is made to order for each customer and is FRESH !! The fries you are eating were whole potatoes just minutes before that. When you bite into the burger, that meat is very hot because it just was removed from the grill . Meat is never frozen and fries never come out of a frozen bag either . This is what is called, fresh food .
    Because of all the above, customers don't mind waiting a few short minutes to enjoy a fresh quality, made to order meal , rather than the other burger places that have the food sitting in warming bins, YUK !! And no, I don't work for In-N-Out, I'm just a long time customer . Clean, great service and fresh food !! (sorry, I have to say it, "That's what a burger is all about !)😀

      The best part about In-N- Out is their burgers (everything else is alright to say the least, minus the animal fries > never tried) and if you like onions, I get the animal style burger with the grilled/caramelized onions. With that said, I prefer the thick steak-like slab of raw onion. Nice slab of raw onion adds a big crispy texture to every bite is the best way to have an In-N- Out burger! In my best opinion. Mmm so, so, good .

    • @skimdockdiamdock6123
      @skimdockdiamdock6123 25 дней назад +3

      The saddest thing is that In-N-Out's quality used to be the standard for American fast food restaurants before corporate greed took over.
      For this reason alone I have dropped most fast food burger chains, and from what I'm seeing price-wise lately, it was a great idea.
      Speak with your wallets people! We can live without McDonalds fries!
      (KFC is a prime example of this. Look at any KFC in the 80's.)

    • @12012channel
      @12012channel 25 дней назад

      I just hope this expansion isn't the beginning of them becoming Burger King or McDonalds. Raising prices and cutting corners on quality. Or worst becoming five guys and charging $30 for a burger to keep up with cost of expanding.

    I would not wait 5 hours for a Double Double. They taste decent, but that's not the best part of In n Out. The prices are better than other burger places, and the people they hire are mostly wholesome. All In n Outs where I live are busy from open to close. There's a very short window in early afternoon when the line is not overwhelming. That's the only time I try to slip in for a burger.

    Even here in Los Angeles we have to deal with long lines at every In-N -Out and I have like 10 In-N-Out burgers within a 15-20 minute drive. But worth the wait.

    Lot of credit need to go to corporate. When they open a place they have semi trucks of food, never run out. Extra personal there for months. And know how to organize the drive through line for efficiently.

    Here in Los Angeles county, I have one to my south, north, east within less than a 1.5 miles and the one to my north west side is new in Compton 4 to 5 miles away, but even more in and outs a little further that those 1.5 miles away from them again. But I remember in the 80s and 90s we only had a lakewood and long beach in the traffic circle area, but, we're slammed with them, and they all stay busy.

    I’ve heard this to be the very best. Although I certainly doubt that I will ever get to even taste the animal style, being I reside in Miami Florida and there most likely will never be an In-N-Out close enough for me to try in my lifetime. What a disappointment to my self and the others living in South Florida.

    As a Californian living in San Diego I have plenty of In-N-Out's around me ,and to be honest I'm not a die hard fan of In-N-Out do I eat there do I like it yes whenever I'm close buy to a In-N-Out but I dont go out of my way to go to a In-N-Out .To be honest with you it taste to me just like any other hamburger my opinion of course,but some people just love it especially those who come from out of town and don't have a In-N-out back home.

    Here we have 2 in Huntington Beach and the cities that surrounds HB has 1 too which is about 5-7 min drive time.. but just like Starbucks.. its always sooooo dammmmm busy.. rule of thumb.. dont go there at lunchtime or dinnertime.. you have to go like a hour before, lines will still be there but you wont have to wait a half mile away.. LOL

    It’s a great burger I don’t care what anybody says. It’s a great burger and I’m glad they’re getting to experience that in Idaho and that’s for the girl that never had in an hour before that’s pretty funny not unusual but it’s pretty funny I worked with a guy along time ago at Home Depot, and one of our employees said hey, let’s go get a burrito and he asked what’s a burrito. He had moved here from the Midwest and never had a burrito in his life. I know completely different food, but same story.
