This battle through the wheat fields is like a 1939 battle of Antietam taking place in Poland rather than Maryland.

    Dear Svein, Anders & Joakim,
Really a nice little game which moved quickly and had a very decisive result. The terrain continues to look much more useful and esthetically pleasing than when you first started out. The game had some very interesting attributes:
    1. the Germans and Poles had pretty equal force distributions. Would it have been possible to give the Germans two smaller squads rather than the nine man squad? That would have given Joakim an equal number of tactical dice to pull.
    2. Anders rolled very well compared to Joakim. With equal fire power this certainly told on the outcome of the game. (On a more serious note, have you contacted the Norwegian government to find out if they have had reports of aliens taking over the bodies of other people? The real Anders could never have rolled that well....)
    3. Anders was in a better tactical position from the outset being able to take the large house which dominated the center of the battlefield.
    4. Joakim's recce vehicle played only a small role in the game waiting until the last turn to really hurt the Poles. By splitting his forces he did not have the strength at any point to overwhelm the Polish force.
The filming of the game almost in "real time" with minimal breaks flowed very smoothly and you might want to try this the next time you play.
    Jerry

Jerry Lannigan Anders has definitely been possessed.. .We shall see what evil spirit resides in him when he returns for some action i Russia! The aim of the game was to teach Joachim the basics since he is a neewbie so he was more concerned with rules than tactics.. But it is good for Anders' confidence that he can roll over an enemy like that :)Speed games are good for smaller size games, but we will definitely do that again! Thanks for your contiuned support Jerry!

Why do you help Joachim's opponent Anders when you are trying to teach Joachim the game? 'Specially at 30:00 when Anders changes his charge to a shot from the house.
