Thanks for watching! Do you think that this guy is better than Beerus at his work? Let's learn more about this king! Please share, like and enjoy the video!
Honestly dude, Yemma is the most stable, reliable and hard-working god in universe 7. Kami was decent but ultimately passive and lost in self-wallowing. The kais are all either incompetent or just goofing around, not necessarily bad but not great either. Then we have Beerus who is beyond lazy and acts on a whim rather than with any actual forethought. Yemma on the other hand deals with billions of souls, sorting them out without a break. He has to deal with everyone from the lamest of simpletons to world-destroying threats like Freeza, Cell and Buu. And he just takes it all like a man.
Whis isn't great either, as he just encourages Beerus' laziness and fakes ignorance as to get away with not being neutral. That's why I love him but still.
At least King Yemma actually does his job properly. Literally all Beerus has been doing throughout the series is eat, sleep, and then get super pissed off over stupid things like pudding.
This really shows how underrated Raditz was. He actually tried to fight King Yemma all by himself despite being weaker than a Saibaman. Not the smartest move, but mad respect Raditz.

"Just ask The Ox King. Power level of 900? WHERE WAS *HE* IN KING PICCOLO'S ARC?" A... VERY good question. That plot hole is big enough to fit Hercule's ego.
Its even funnier when you realize Freezy-pop just flat refused to repent for his sins and enter the reincarnation cycle, something that gives the big guy a real headache apparently. It must be unusual for anyone to endure the tortures of hell for that long without repenting. Maybe its a real estate thing, get the evil soul in there, torment them until they're sorry and get em reincarnated fast enough to get the next baddy in there, not to mention there's only so many "Torturers" to share between HFIL's residents. So Freezy-pop's clogging up the system.
@@dreadrath maybe it's a commentary at the fact that punishment alone does not work as a way of facilitating rehabilitation and thus the modern world must rethink its archaic prison systems.
@@Vivi_9 Possible. Some shows do try to subtly add commentary on modern issues (Others forcefully beat us over the head with it, lol) Though if its anime, that commentary would likely be Japan focused. But Dragon Ball never really seemed to do that sort of thing, its never been all that deep, at least as far as I'm aware. Still, if the evil doer in question is as remorseless as Frieza (Ya know, genocidal sociopath with a sadistic streak twice the size of the multiverse) there is no rehabilitation for guys like him; its either lock em up or put em down. Lesser evils like Piccolo or Vegeta certainly can be brought around though. Maybe even Cell is redeemable, but not Freezy-pop, he's evil incarnate and proud of the fact.
Really interesting to see Oni in the original Japanese and Chinese context (Buddhism introduced more cosmologically significant status to them, bringing in the devas to combine with the Kami, Asuras, narakas and their guards, raksashas etc).
