This is the only Ultramarine i have Respect :P Great job fella and nice paint scheme on him look's better than the official Titus think I'm going to have to change mine now lol lol lol
@@andrewfornes5320 Not so. Sid smashed together his 'kitbashes' from random parts that had no business being together to create toys that had no real story or purpose. He was a mad scientist, not an artist. A kitbash of the level of quality seen in the video would be, I think, an honour, both to the toy and the one who receives it. It would be a lot like if Andy had gotten a special wooden doll, like a Pinocchio, that was carved, painted and completely hand-made for him by his grandfather. That level of dedication and craftsmanship would be like knowing that a god who really cares had made you, from the ground up.
I feel like your conversions have always been incredible, but this paint job feels like a step up from the usual, it’s insanely good. This is golden daemon level
That statue looks amazing but so does your conversion. It's like they are two different snap shots of the same moment. Your Conversion is when Titus has just stomped that bug and Wetas statue is him looking for another target. Superb looking work.
At 1st when I read the title I thought you were going to kitbash the Weta model and I was 'wow, Pete's gone mad, kitbashing a gigantic and hyper expensive model' Great job on the result and particularly the thought process to have as close a pose as the weta model.
Both the statue and your build are awesome. The statue looks like he's overseeing the battlefield after his victory, while your build looks like he's about to leap off that gaunt and tear into another group of Tyranids. I love it.
The mini's posing feels like it's happening like a second before the statue's pose. With the mini, Titus is yelling and his chainsword arm is still moving, like he's still stomping on the Tyranid. With the statue, Titus is stoic and the chainsword arm is at rest, and the Hormagaunt wraps its tail around Titus' leg in one final act of desperation as Titus scans for another target. Putting the two in this context, for me at least, gives life and action for both poses.
Easily one of, if not, the best paint job I've seen from you! I hope we will see more of this style with the gritty "pre/post shading" type effect, like you find on armor models.
Very sweet build! Both you and Weta knocked it out of the park with these models. Zorpazorps video when he goes to their studio is well worth the watch if you enjoyed this
I only truly enjoy the lore involved with 40k, and have tired and failed collecting miniatures too, but I just cant reproduce the level I would deem acceptable. I love watching your videos, your voice is so soothing it helps me relax. In other words I will watch your videos regardless of my lack of interest in painting miniatures , simple because your videos are so well done, and its like my own personal ASMR. Thank you
I find it funny that when you're painting Titus on the base before the full assembly, he has that "cartoon sneak" pose with the tip-toeing steps. Final result looks great, you did the best possible with the parts given to recreate the large statue without essentially having to strip it down and resculpt parts from scratch.
Working at Weta, I get to see him daily, as you mentioned there are some slight differences, but damn Pete you do a great job! You've made the chapter proud!
@Pete The Wargamer, AMAZING model dude! However, the left arm could have been positioned a little farther down to allow his face to be more visible and the big thig is it's missing the seal w/ ribbons on the inner bottum corner of the shoulder pad. It's still a kick-ass mode...!
I know this is probably a bit to late to ask but since you’ve tackled a few of the vampire coast units before I would love to see how you would handle building either the Depth Guard or even the Rotting Promethean, I just think those are units which are so unique that it would be great to see them come alive on the tabletop.
This conversion may not be to the level of the 1/6th statue but is an amazing representation and far cheaper alternative for most of us unlucky souls who were not able to dish out the cash for the $1k+ statue haha. This was a very well executed conversion, even more impressive with the added base conversion as well
I’ve never clicked a video as fast! Amazing work as usual. Pete, you should do a conversion of a space marine whose power armour has failed. Maybe he’s lost mobility. I don’t know if it makes sense lore wise but hey ho. So he has taken it off, the armour is in a slump behind him, and he’s ready to charge into the night wearing just his base layer suit. His armour has failed him but his will has not.
Genuinely remarkable, Pete. Not only was this an incredibly skilled kitbash, this looks like one of, (if not the most) advanced set of painting techniques you've ever employed? Where would you rate this build by the level of complexity compared to the rest of your creations?
Ok, this video wants me to make a custom kitbashed Terminator Captain Heroically Posing over an unalived Tyranid, for Lovely Wife's Space Marines army. With the Tyranid being in our Hive Fleet's colours, and the Space Marine in her army's colours. Because, seriously, all of your videos are a great source of inspiration for me, for ideas and concepts for custom Heroic Pose characters I want to make for all of our 40k armies.
I think you did a cracking job with that. I really like what you achieved with the paint scheme as well. Table top Tactics seem to like to run Titus so if you didn't want to hang onto it going somewhere like that where it could be seen in games would be cool. I'm not saying you should give it away - I wouldn't - but if you did I'm sure there's some content creators that do wargaming vids that would love him. It would be good to see him in battles. 🙂
I wish that Titus models head would be better, I have no idea what is going on with it if you compare the eye and ear levels to each other. Fantastic job on the conversion!
Man, you're a crazy good converter and painter, but I'd love if you could do a collab with other people, like Ninjon, Angel, or maybe Vincent - create the model, have them paint it up to golden demon level of painting. Two videos, one model, good cross-linking - wins for everyone :D
You had me thinking you were going to work DIRECTLY ON THE STATUE at first...Had some real mixed feelings about it, but I'd have watched the shit out of it xD
Probably one of the only ultramarine characters I would ever want as a miniature just to have but I would do him with his helmet on and thankfully to replicate his armor the only thing I really need is the sword side shoulder otherwise I could just use a regular space Marine and add some purity seals, and because I have found 3D files for the tyranid just have to go outside with a mask and grab a saw start cutting and then use some milliput to fill up the spaces but I'm not painting the face if I don't have to I will just use the helmet that he specifically wears that we see in the cutscene before he takes it off
You know what else would be neat for you to do (and I'm honestly surprised you didn't do already, I was certain you did)? Malum Caedo, the Boltgun FPS character. Its honestly sad GW didn't give him a mini, even just a limited run one as he looks amazing on that cover art.
Certainly shows how much a ball ache the newer kits are for conversions. Compaired to pretty much every older marine kit being compatible with each other.

I got something I'd like to ask
How would you go about converting a Blood Angel Plague Marine for the Dornian Heresy?
What colour is that green on your wall may I ask
Actually got my butt kicked by what I think was your profile in the arena today lol
Scam of an app, like all mobile "gaming" apps. Nothing more than a gambling sim designed to make vulnerable people get addicted and spending money.
It’s videos like this that make me imagine “what if Toy Story was real, how horrific would it be to be a Warhammer kitbash…”
Everyone is the kid from the first one😂
We are all Sid and these are our monstrosities.
Not to mention an army of flying tyranids and huge tanks 😂
instead of monstrosities, these are lovingly made unique pieces.

Totally not jealous that you got one of Titus's statue, no I am not jealous
Rest well Assault Intercessor 1A, your sacrifice will not be forgotten

This is a great conversion with inspiration of a beautiful model, Super excited to see what you work on next and Super hyped for SM2!
You and me both!
@@PeteTheWargamercan you make a Mickey Mouse Skaven to homage Skaventide?

I thought you were going to kitbash the statue at first, and a bit of my soul almost left my body. Excellent work, as always.
I LOVE the way he painted the damage; edge highlighting the cracks/cuts with the light blue turned out so well!
What a beautiful build. Well done
Thanks :D
This side by side really demonstrates how even the primaris marines are still heroic scaled, compared to the true scale 1/6 scale mini
Holy crap! That statue is amazing. But i love how true to the pose etc the conversion is. Its fantastic!
At 1st when I read the title I thought you were going to kitbash the Weta model and I was 'wow, Pete's gone mad, kitbashing a gigantic and hyper expensive model'

The best painting you've done. Amazing work!
Super awesome - your pose is such an improvement on normal titus!
Pete doubling up on the sponsors this week!
Our boy Titus looks great. Good stuff, Pete.
Amazing Video Pete, and a fantastic subject to recreate!

This was epic! Love it your skills are truly next-level.
Consider myself inspired. Going through a year long motivation problem at the moment. This has made me want to pick up the brush again.
This is a hue improvement. great job
Thank you :D
Referenced this great build in a recent video, excellent and inspiring work!
Cool build, recreate the rogue trader marneus calgar model next time you do an ultramarine hero conversion.
Better even, have him sit on the toilet with velociraptor writing desk next to him like in rhe artwork
It would be awesome to see a converted brother Sa'kan from the pariah nexus series at some point.
Very nice paint job! I hope to try this out when I can with my own Titus model; if not, it'd make for an awesome captain!
amazing painting brother... the emperor would be proud
It’s looks great I know understand the slipping on the banana reference
This conversion is insane. Please recreate more models pictured in artworks
Working at Weta, I get to see him daily, as you mentioned there are some slight differences, but damn Pete you do a great job! You've made the chapter proud!
much more interesting result than the official model. I praise your ork and dedication
Really liking your recipe for the bronze/gold
Speechless.
So beautiful. So damn beautiful.
I know people have said this before, but WOW are you a good painter!
Superb conversion and great paint job man.
Thanks a lot!
Great paintjob !!
thats a badass conversion

Would love to see your take on a kit bash of the chapter master of the Astral Claws, Lufgt Huron! Tyrant of badab
Titus is available in the UK in the Space Marine 2 themed starter set. Its a GW stores exclusive.
Shout out to assault intercessor a1 🫡
Your Titus is simply awsome, he would look very good in a complete Ultramarine Tyranid veteran army ^^
love the conversion, love the paint Job
Gonna steal this build as well...

Pete x Titus..This was the only thing that could happen that was cooler than buying the board game and building gw’s titus myself.
Lack of right hand chain swords and left hand heavy bolt pistols is a crying shame, love the conversion!
Hope you do the Abaddon one next!!
(Totally stealing this build lol)
Stealing this build.
Hundred percent
If you know where he lives I'll steal the statue 😂
Blood Raven spotted . Bolt everything down and lock the reliquary lads.

Insane work Pete!
I was going to kitbash my Titus, before realizing that I'm a tyranids player and got the board game for the termagants. Sweet build!
Now that the game has been released I'm hoping to see Pete do a kitbash of Titus in his deathwatch armor. Aka "Nullus."
Amazing!! Great convertion! Thank you.
Excellent work!
As usual, fantastic work
That's amazing. Blows my Blood Angels Terminator Captain conversion out the water 😅
Also thanks for the Tacticus code.
Love it, great work as always!
That's fantastic, I would buy that for a UM army and wouldn't give it a thought if it was an official GW model
Dang dude!! That’s tight!!
Saving this video to use later

Excellent job
I swear the mini designers are deliberately making these awkward dynamic poses for you to fix them into a better looking one like the einhyr champ
Can you please make a loyal angron kitbash. I really love your side switching of the primarks and would love to see a loyal angron.
The cost of bread rose to 3,90€ where I live.

Some colored UV resin to make the blood dripping off of the chain sword would've really set it over the edge. Great work either way though.
This is amazing work
I have a similar conversion, but i used the two-handed thunder hammer from Grandmaster Voldus. I'm still trying to get the greenstuff to work out.
Binging all your videos! All your projects are so inspiring. What is your lighting set up for painting?

Way better than the collectors edition model of space marine 2 which looks like Titus lost his legs
