  • The Grampians National Park is around 3 hours from Melbourne and is one of the top places to visit in Victoria. With some of the best hiking in the state, rugged mountains, waterfalls, beautiful sunrises and sunsets, and a rich collection of aboriginal rock art. This was one of the places we were most looking forward to and we absolutely loved it.
    We visit the popular lookouts - the Pinnacle, Boroka and Reed Lookout, and waterfalls, but also check out a few less-visited areas too.
    Join us as we show you the best things to see and do in the Grampians National Park.

    Wow, wow, wow! The Grampians - what beautiful Aussie bush and fantabulous far-reaching vistas. Sorry, but that stand-in for Nigel was a far cry from the original and the best. Thanks.

      The views there are incredible. And let’s be honest, Nigel has had a lot more practice!

    Another one with spectacular scenery, and a beautiful sunset. Love it. It's really lovely getting to see all these places through your lenses. Maybe one day, I will get to see some of them in person. Catching up before 2024!! 😍

    WoW..just found your awesome channel guys. Gariwerd vid was spec & renewed my intent to visit. From Vic & plan to obtain CV.
    Btw a hiking stick over rocks & uneven terrain helps with balance I've found & less effort 👍
    Thanks for an awesome tour to our beautiful Gariwerd ❤

      Welcome aboard! Thanks for your lovely comments. I do have walking poles, I need to get some rubber stoppers or something so they’re better on very rocky terrain.

    I lived in Stawell (Stawell Cup location) at the foothills of the Grampians and it is a nature wonderland. You showcased it well in some challenging weather. Looking forward to part 2.

      Thanks Dave. A local told us that the Grampians has its own weather. It certainly didn’t do what the forecast said! It’s a beautiful place, we loved it there

    Best ever 🥧 pies are in Halls Gap bakery the Cauliflower and Broccoli pies in delicious white sauce. I have only ever found them in Halls Gap. The other is the Scallop in mornay sauce pie in Tasmania on the east coast of Tasmania. These pies I would travel far and wide for ❤

      Nigel is a big fan of scallops so will hopefully try one in the next few days. I reckon I could live in Halls Gap, and that bakery is amazing

    How much maintenance you do on your truck, 😊.. many break downs, what common issues have with truck

    • @nigelandsueadventures
      @nigelandsueadventures  9 месяцев назад +2

      Nigel does a great job of all the basic maintenance, oil change, filters etc. we’ve only had one breakdown in 3 years, and a few repairs required after driving on some outback roads in very poor condition. That’s more due to the roads, not the van.

      Ask Nigel talk trye deflation, and how do you determine how much air is safe to remove with causing damage or effect driving also little apprehensive might screw it up.
