Looks like a good way to remind "Happy Campers" about getting kitted out with Gortex Coats, Puffer Jackets and CragHopper water proof pants. Enjoying your visits to an area we hope to soon visit ourselves. Thanks for the heads up.

Use to have an extra 120 camp sites but the greens closed them when Daniel Andrews done a back door deal to get his, I own your soul legislation past. You could actually enjoy some of the beauty. But tracks closed.

Thank you for this awesome ep. We have lived in Victoria for 3 years and cannot remember if we ever visit the Grampians but it's good to see the Grampians in winter. I love the campfire chat, we did that too with a few people we met on the road. It's just so cosy and relaxing. Cannot wait to see your outback eps 😍

Hooray - great to see you guys back!
Totally appreciate driving a new vehicle with mod cons vs older pre 90’s 4x4 - you can do the km’s get out and feel good vs feeling tired and like you have felt every bump and noise makes you tired!
We love our 2020 VX ✅

Such a beautiful area. I was there 3 months ago and the landscape blew me away not to mention the walk back up from Mckenzie Falls almost killed me lol
You looking a bit dusty the morning after though Matt. I'm guessing it was Panadol for breakfast.
Looking forward to the next episode guys. Safe travels

Love the Grampians. We were driving up to the Zoo one day between Pomonal and Halls Gap and almost hit a reindeer that had escaped from the zoo at some stage. If you thought hitting a roo was bad enough then I don't know how you'd explain hitting a reindeer to your insurance company. We didn't hit it but it was close enough. Not the sort of thing you'd expect to see crossing the road.

Staying in Halls Creek wouldn't have been my first second or third choice, a free camp 50 or so out of town would have been a better choice, same as Fitzroy Crossing

We free camped the second night. Main reason to go for staying in town was a shower and so we could walk to the brewery and have a few drinks without driving anywhere :)

I've been trying to get to the Grampians with family from Victoria for a couple of years now and for reasons that are sort of obvious it hasn't happened.
    Maybe next year........................
Good to see the good old Victorian weather is living up to expectations.
    Thanks for the video.

Should have gone alot of campsites are permanently closed thank the voters. They don't understand politics. Understand big business lobbies for laws to protect their business at our expense.

@@reallyskeptical Yeah and a lot get closed because of the grubs that leave crap everywhere and tear up the scenery.
Saw ample evidence of it on a recent trip.
I'm more than happy to pay to stay in National parks and pay the fees so I doubt we will have issues finding somewhere to stay.
