  • Greetings All! In this video I make a Baby Yoda quilt for my friend Mat.
Usually my subscribers enjoy the jazz music in my videos, although this week I went with something more cinematic because Star Wars.
These are the patterns I use for this quilt:

I`m SO thrilled to have recently discovered your Craft Room...been binge watching your videos to catch up and Baby Yoda Grogu quilt is the icing on the cake!! I just Love Grogu and the Mandalorian. As a 71 year old it was my adult sons got me into Star Wars.....The quilt you created is absolutely stunning....I love the way you put stuff together...making "families" of colour or style. And your patience for hand quilting is amazing. It`s wonderful to see.
As a long time quilter I`m finding your approach so refreshing. It`s exciting and I`m learning and feeling inspired. Thank you for sharing your innovative creativity. And you make me smile so much. Thank you..and God bless you. Elizabeth

Great quilt, Dave! I'm enjoying your channel. I've made dozens of theme quilts for friends and family, and I can relate to gathering fat quarters and shirts that fit a theme, then finding a way to make it all work together and make sense. So glad that Matt loves his quilt.

Hi Dave! Another amazing quilt I see you made. Proud of you I am for not turning to the dark side against Grogu. Many a Star Wars quilt I have made. Now I see I must make another. For a special Mother's Day treat, after flying to see my offspring's new/old home, we went to Disney Land and geeked out with many other Star Wars fans of all makes and models. Just a side note. We all returned to our own homes with Covid. Are you going to make a Covid-19 quilt? I have been saving cloth masks and covid related t-shirts. We have lost so many people to this virus, and it is still out their changing. I was lucky not to be really sick, but I sure felt horrible. Just FYI, I have had 5 Covid shots to date. 🧵🧵🌴🌴🪡🪡

I've noticed (in all your videos) that when you put your blocks up on the design wall, you have this incredible sense of balance pertaining to color and block size placement, which blows me away because you are a "quilt-by-the-
seat-of-your-pants" kind of guy. Is that something you learned, or are you just a natural genius? I admire your quilting artwork so much!

What a cool quilt! Way cooler than the Mandalorian series. I mean Baby Yoda is cute but the series is kinda dumb imho. Of course I watched them all and will watch any more that come out cuz I have fomo on anything Star Wars so I guess I didn’t hate it that much. 💁‍♀️ Also, your music was pretty dang cool too!👍🏼👍🏼

The mandalorian takes place after the prequel trilogy, so after the Jedi order is decimated. He escaped somehow, and when he joins the new Jedi order with Luke, that's after Luke has already dealt with Vader.
