This is a song that will never sound as good being covered by anybody else. The lead singer's voice is distinctive and is in its own a unique instrument. Those were good times for simple and great songs.
Hello, does anyone know where this video is from? More the clip at the start before the live song starts, I'm intrigued to know where it is from! Thanks
+aussietvone Yep I was being a bit facetious. I'm a big fan of the brothers Finn from way back. To be honest I don't think they look like each other - it was just in this video I noticed the family resemblance.
Wtf is he talking about Melbourne for? Then at the end talking about being from NZ??... They were a New Zealand band. Whoever edited this video completely confused viewers as to where they are from.
Such a well written song!

Courtney Day Australia now documentary from the 80s
Courtney Day split ends self titled album, released 81/82 I believe
From the Australia Now TV special, live session was taped at AAV studios, Melbourne in 1982, also clips were done for WROK and Nightmoves.
Great video. What's that building they are strolling away from in Melbourne (I assume per the dialogue)?
That’s the arts centre, close to flinders street station in Melbourne

They moved to Melbourne in the 70s. No confusion. Also this is from a longer video promoting Australia.
